Crafter's Companion Bebunny Florals Sneek peeks

These are simply amazing images to work with this is my favorite one yet as the  images are great and the papers are just amazing and I can see me using them for other projects too, they are very ditsy and in a nice range of colours too ..Just LOVE...LOVE them lol

I used my own 8x8 card base for this one ..I mounted the beautiful butterfly paper onto some CC Kraft card added some dark brown twine around the edge of the card ..I then mounted the topper too ..,so colourful :) ,Before sticking it down I spread some all purpose glue onto the part of the hessian that would be behind the topper and positioned, thus hiding any glue that may show through. I then added Collall 3D gell to back of the topper and added it to card,be generous and wiggle slightly to let glue go through the hessian.. I then mounted a two and half inch square, from the cd ..these are so sweet and just nice to finish a card ,you can add embossing powder or even the liqiud ones you can but to make it look like an enamelled square . I finished off with hessian flowers and butterfly..The butterflies body and antennae is doubled up twine and I placed pretty little yellow buttons in the center to finish.. Hope you like it ..This is one of my favourite ones as I love the greens :)x

Scrappers Delights..Anything Goes ..Paper Piecing

Hiya todays lovely card is for my DT at Scrappers Delights ..I have chosen this lovely Victorian lady to do for this project as I thought it would look lovely done in paper piecing..I have never done one before so this is new ground for me.. The face and hair was coloured with SN pencils and the rest using scrap pieces of card from my stash which I printed the image on to cut out..Fiddly ,but I think she has turned out better than I expected ..The Background papers are from a pad from Hobbycraft, they are beautiful and will feature in a lot of my cards this year I think ..I used a scalloped Tonic large die, A Spellbinders die Victorian Medalion 1 and the snoflakes from the Die sire collection from Crafter's Companion

The New Bebunny Floral Sneak Peek

I have been terribly busy over the last week or so as have been working on the New Bebunny samples..This I think is my favourit one .It is very bright ,colourful and fun, lovely new shaped cards and beautiful papers too..so here is a sneak peek of what is to come
The pens I used for this are of course Spectrum Noir
Be bunnyIG1,2,3  FS2,3 and Blender  Stem CG2
Petals CR2,3,4,5 and TN2,3,4 for the center of the flower
I used Cordination card to mount the beautiful butterfly paper onto ,for a little texture and contrast,I did the same with the border across the center too.. By the way this is an 8x8 card to which I trimed about 2 inches off.. I cut the image out using the Die sire Magic Mirror which is one of my favourites
,and also cut the sentiment out with the same set too ..I then went around the edges with Antique velvet by tim Holtz but I think I must have caught it on a bit o f older ink and it really looks great a pinky brown ..I always do things different lol ..The flowers are mine and the leaves are a neat punch i got from Hobby craft and I love it as I have leaves all the while now and saves getting the machine out. Thanks for stopping by.:)x

Happy Birthday Crafter's Companion

Well its Birthday time at Crafter's Companion and Boy oh Boy ther have been some really beautiful new products brought out just for this celebration ..If this is the 9th what will we get for the 10th whoo hoo ..I posted this box on FB yesterday and had quite a bit of interest..Now it looks hard ,but its not or I would not be able to do it lol. ok here it is...

Now you use the full A3 sheet of Centura pearl or new patterned card ..
1) Score at 2" intervals along the length you should have a little bit left over that will be used to glue the box together.
2)Score 1" in from the bottom and 4" in from the top this is the body of the box.
3)Mark half way points as shown on the top of the diagram (1") either draw faintly with a pencil and score or score to the point with the sharp end of a pair of scissors..These will be valley folds .
4)Now give all the mountain folds a really good sharp edge with your scoring tool.and at the bottom cut up to the inch fold line on each of the mountain fold lines.. Then clip a either side so that they sit nicely when they go onto the base. You can see on the edge of the picture what I mean but do it both sides of section.
5)Now you are ready to glue the box together, using the flap that was left over use a good strong glue like Tacky Glue as you do not want the box to fall apart..I put a peg on either end and left it about an hour, first making sure I had gone down my inside seam to make sure it was stuck down.
6)When dry I used a piece of card..put glue on the bottom inch flaps and shaped the card properly and placed it on top of the piece of card..Leave to dry  then carefully cut the remainder of the card away ..you then have your main box..
7)Using a Hole punch ,Braddle or whatever your weapon of choice place holes around the top.. Then decorate..I used the Vintage Floral CD and Craft card to finish .
8)for the top pleats pinch the mountain folds between your fingers and you will find the top will fall into place..Thread ribbon/cord  through holes and push in the top until it is in a tighter position,it is all about manipulation at first but it is ok once you get it in it in more mallable ....then tie in a bow and either tie off ends or decorate.. and now you have a good size box xx

I used a piece of satin cord ribbon to which I attached two inch circles with a smaller circle of the paper and added gems to the center I had to cut four of each as they are doubled up to hide the ribbon.. I layered my paper and added it to the box using  gel glue (Collall) it helps to give dimension..But I tell you what would look great trying it using the lovely embossing folders..A Christmas one and adding Poinsettias and ivy prehaps..well you go and create and Have fun :)x

Scrappers Delights Halloween Tag

Here is something different for me this time..I have done a tag..the base is cut from a file on my Silhouette  Portrait..The lovely image is coloured in using SN pens and pencils on Neenah Solar White card .. This was then cut out then stuck onto the base tag using Collall 3D glue gel glue.I felt it looked a bit bare so I drew a pumpkin patch and it just finished the tag of.. Tags are such a great way to use up your bits and bobs of card, paper and ribbons ,nearly all mine was cut out of left overs so thrifty too  ..This was just complete fun to do and I hope you like it too :) x

You can find the image here ..

Inky Impressions ..Any thing goes with a twist ..Check Mate

What a lovely fun Image to colour up this time..I used Inky Impressions Marrisa Sleigh Ride .She is coloured in with SN pens and pencils on Neenah Solar White Card.. The background paper was mounted onto craft card.. I cut this shorter to add one of the new Tonic Edge dies behind it .. Once this was done I sprayed the front with Spray and Sparkle Pearl Diamonds. The flowers are made from a Heartfelt Creations die, and out of craft card,I coloured the leaves with a pen ,then popped thenm onto the card with 3D Collall Gell and added gems to the center to finish..Thanks for visiting :)x
