Buttons Ribbons and or Bows

The Delightful image which is Baby Boo Balloon   I coloured her in using my SN pens and pencils, and just finishing with a HB pencil. The background papers are from Lidle, and the shaped backing paper was cut out using one of the new Dutch Doobadoo Stencils they have quite a few shapes ,you can either use them like this or you can use them to cut out a shaped card. . I then cut out an oval by Tonic called Romantic vine tied a ribbon Coloured with pens to co-ordinate) around shaped background popped the oval which I also coloured to co- ordinated with the image, behind the ribbon..Popped bow in place using Collal Gel, then using foam pads and Collal Gel gently Shaped Baby Boo to give her more of a 3d aspect and popped her in place. The white flowers are cut on my silhouette, as were the leaves, popped on various pink buttons .It really looks pretty too...Please come on over and join in our challenge and have some fun. Happy Birthday Milly

Well it was my Granddaughter Milly's 12th Birthday this week and boy what a rush to get her cards don,I was disappointed as was not able to spend as long on them as I would have liked, then I took the pics and they were off center and that was it for me grrr..The first was a Saturated Canary image ,coloured in SN pens and Pencils, mainly pencils as having bad pen days at the moment lol.. the others were an Aurora Wings mermaid child and a Sherri Baldi Fairy in a bath ..All coloured the same way ..I am just popping the pics on if you have any questions please contact me thank you xx

First Christmas Card (Honourable Mention )

My entry into Christmas in July on the Aurora Wings ..I have used the lovely Poinsettia nymph to make my very first Christmas Card this year..It may yet have to be shared around ..so wait and see if you get a card or photo copy lol..I decided that I wanted to keep the background simple so I used a paper of one of my Christmas Do-crafts digital cd's, layered and mounted the paper ,then I coloured the image in using my SN pens and pencils to colour it in and just finished off with a simple hb pencil ..I then gently shaped the nymph after cutting it out carefully and mounted it using double sided foam pads..Simple yet extremely beautiful..Mitzi who is Aurora wings does some of the most beautiful work I just love her designs ..Thanks for looking x

Enchanting Girly Girl Scrappers Delights Fairy Card

This is one of the beautiful Scrappers Delights  Pixie Corner set of Digi Stamps, it is a  group of three beautiful pixies, and also comes with some background imagery too..I chose this pixie as I just fell in love with her ,she has been coloured very gently with a mixture of SN pens and Pencils,There is more pencil work on this image than on most of my work as I wanted her to look very ethereal, and the colouring soft.. I then popped just a dusting of glitter on her wings , to make them look magical.. To finish her I have used some 6x6 pink patterned paper I found in my stash..I have more stash than I need got to stop saving  just in case..glad I saved this though)I popped half a doily either side of this before adding to the green base. The green being from my stash too..I inked around the edges of both with Tim Holtz Old Paper distressed ink and distressed the green to give it vintage feel.. I then popped in some palest pink paper  roses I brought from the Range, a few swirls and leaves

East Wings Floral Kiss

This is such a stunning image from East Winds I absolutly love the themes of their digi stamps they suit me down to the ground lol.. This on is called Floral Kiss but it is well worth going to their shop on etsy and pop in east winds in the search ..they are absolutely great and they have blogs which you can enter ,challenges  as well. The image is coloured with SN pens and pencils ,I use both to give more richness to the finished image , to me this looks right, without the pencils it feels flat but this is me ...The beautiful backing paper that I put the image on is from a paper pack I got from Liddles when they had a craft thingy on and they are really yummy and has encapsulated glitter on them. Because of this I did not want to cover up much more than necessary ,so popped a few of the Sue Wilson leaves on, in white and some small pink flowers in the same card as I used in the layering of the image ,it has a nice sateen finish ..it comes from my stash forgot I had it too ..lol..Thanks for taking time to visit x

Sassy Cheryl's Welcome Digi Card

I was wandering as you do on Facebook and found someones card with one of these digi's on and it was love at first sight . They are so charming little people who just grab your heart and remind you of your own kids as they were growing up. Even reminded me of some of the things that I got up to lol ..needless to say I spent quite some time looking through them . Main problem was which one to get ..Problem was solved when I was on their Facebook page and the lovely artist was giving this away as a freebie for a limited time, so I doubt it is still there sorry ,but you can just look at mine or go to Sassy Cheryl's Neighbourhood  on Facebook.. You could also head on over to www.sassycherylsstamps.com to see the full collection including Boys and Christmas ..There are so many you just keep going ooh and ahhh..
Right now onto my card
The background papers are from my stash and the lovely blue cardstock used for layering was from my bargain at Lidls ..You have to save money so you can spend on important things like new pens or new machines to play with lol.I used a Tonic punch to cut the border trim on the left hand side this was called the Beautiful Bramble Border.. nice and easy to use and a nice clean cut too. I mounted and layered the card as you can see this is replicated on the inside too as it finishes the card off I just have to add the verse.I then used flowers from my stash ..I had already done my topper which I shall describe now.. I coloured her in using SN pens and pencils, when finished I did not want to leave it square so drew around a die and hand cut the spike design around her ..still feeling not quite right I carefully used the same colour pen as her jacket to go around the edges and then using a fine pen then put tiny stitching around to finish ..It add a nice point of interest and breaks the squareness of the card and the layering.. Hope you  like it and Thanks for visiting :)
I will be entering this card into
