Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Inspiration Card

Hiya...I have used my Polychromos Pencils but I have gone back onto my Neenah card for this on..I really enjoyed doing this one ,such a pretty little image,and so summery,shame here in the uk we dont seem to be having one this year lol!..I have backed all my work onto beautiful Kanban card that goes from one colour to another ,all the colours are the same,subtle but very pretty..The background paper is from Dovecraft Painted Blooms and the  smaller panels in the center are from some off cuts from another project I did from Dovecrafts Bohemien a while ago...The Flowers are cut from a medium sized punch from Hobycraft and to finish them off I have added cream resin roses to the center ,the pink brings the colour from the dress and the flowers in the paper into the card too..Thank you for popping by

Sasayaki Glitter New Release Day

Hiya for todays image I used Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils on their paper for pencils..Once completed I cut around the image leaving a small white line around the edge.I then mounted some First Edition papers from the Love Letter pad onto the craft card ,glued in the in the insert sheet and then put some lace across the middle of the front piece before attaching it and making sure it was firmly fixed at the back with red tape before adding it to the card base.I then matted some Kanban Happy Birthday card onto some craft card ,added some pink ribbon around it and a bow and stuck this down with some Collall glue as I had to make sure it would stick over the lace on the backing card..To finish I used 3D Collall glue to stick the image to the card to lift her slightly from the background and a pretty faux pearl resin rose to the center of the bow..Thank you for popping by :)xx

KleoKatra Competition for Knitty Kitty Digis

This is a great bit of fun for everyone..Here I have coloured Kleokatra myself ,I have used Polychromos Pencils onto Faber Castel Sketch pad paper which is for pencils,but I have used the back of it as I have mentioned before I found it a bit too textured for my liking,the back is much smoother.I then cut her out leaving a tiny line around her so that she stands out..I then added First Editions Neroli papers as they have like jewels in orangey red on them and it sort of went with this theme.These I added to craft card then onto the blank card.. I then cut a piece of blue plain Neroli paper for the background and used an off cut from one of First Editions Christmas paper pads for the sand,it is glittery and just looks so pretty and a nice texture on the blue..I then trimmed this level with the blue and mounted first onto craft card then onto some gold card..To make the pyramids I cut to triangles from craft card ,marked them with a brick effect and darkened the edges with pastel chalks..came out better than I thought was pleased .I added this to the card leaving it over lapping slightly..I also added some stars with a Uniball Sigma white pen at this stage .Then slightly bent Kleo and added her with 3D glue gel...

Sasayaki Glitter Mid Challenge Inspiration Card

Hiya..Been having a bit of a play with this one..I have used the Faber Castelle Paper for pencils to colour this cute image on..I am not sure if I like the texture of it ,it does take the pencil beautifully cannot fault it for that but it makes the finish look a bit rougher than my usual..But I will see how I get on as I have another few projects printed on it ready to colour.. I have used my Polychromos pencils to colour the image with..
I then mounted it onto some orange card and then, using some Tonic backing papers I mounted these onto the same card too , using some of the card offcuts , I added a few punched daisies ,finished the centers with blue gems and added them to the card..To finish I used a computer generated sentiment and also mounted it onto some of the same card and popped one of the daisies onto the edge of one side ..

Sassayaki Glitter Oldie but a Goodie Rain

Hiya,This is a fun little image for todays card,I have added the background to tell his story,I love these cute images..I have coloured him using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card,I then mounted him onto craft card ..The background papers are from tonic pads I have long since lost the covers for ,hate when the covers come off..To the side one I added some twine down the side as it is more of a boys card and we all know how boys think bows and flowers are really Yukky lol!..but string is ok :)

World Wide Open Dt Challenge Inspiration Card

Hiya ,for today's card I hace don this beautiful image from Julia Spirri using my Polychromos pencils on Neenah card..I then mounted her onto Craft Card ,I used First Edition Desert Blooms for the backing papers and even cut the feathers out of some of the smaller off cuts..The feathers are cut using dies from China so I am sorry no name..the butterfly was a last minute addition and I cut it freehand and bent it before adding tiny faux pearls to the body .

Sassayaki Glitter New Release Card

Hiya,I had some fun with this lovely new image..I coloured her using my Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..after I had coloured her I added the background to her and the pot of Daffodils ,was hoping in vain for a bit of spring before now lol!.. I then mounted her first on some brown spotted paper then onto some craft card..To set the card off a bit more I did a dot dash pattern around it/
The beautiful papers on this card are from First Editions Desert Blooms ,The main paper is very pretty and has encapsulated glitter on it too...I love First Editions papers as they all co-ordinate so beutifully together and the papers are so varied and so nice, and thick enough that the glue does not go through it as it does on some thinner papers.I created a border with an off cut ,mounted it onto craft card then I cut out a lacy border from BoBunny, #Elegant Border Die and the number is 12839810 if you want to look it up..I then added the pearlised roses and the round pearls to jazz it up a bit more..

Playing with Watercolour Pencils

While I have been away Ill I have had time to sit and playwith my own drawings ..I also was lucky to get some Faber Castel Durer Albrieght (I think that's how it is spelt)  pencils for my Christmas and Birthday present ,so lucky ,and just had to play lol! as you do
The first one I did was for my friend's Grandson,She had made him a fabulous Tepee for his birthday and I sat and drew and inked up this little indian the one night ,offered her it as a digi and she said too hard to colour ,so I did it as a picture for the little one to go with the tent..She was made up,so was her Daughter and the Grandson..Thats why I like drawing lol!



The second was for another friend who wanted a Sheep for a young girl who loves Sheep ,I sat for hours to get it done so she could get it onto the card and get it to her in time ,another happy friend ..


And finally I was shown a silly soft toy and asked to do a card with it on so I used a little artistic liscence ,changed the colour slightly and a few things and this is what I came up with lol!..I have not shown the card as it was personalised ..
So I have not just been sitting doing nothing  in the months I have been away ,but back on with the cards again now

Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Reminder Inspiration Card

Hiya.. It seems ages since I last posted ,but I have been very ill and have been getting over blood clots on both of my lungs..so I needed time for me and not the cards lol!..but I am back now and will be posting as usual ..Todays card I am thrilled with as I love this image,I have been meaning to do her for a while ,she is one of Sasayaki Glitter's older ones ,but she is so cute,the link is below for her .. I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,then mounted her onto craft card.
The papers I used are Hunkydory Florabunda,some very pretty papers in this pad ,well worth having it in your stash..These were also mounted onto craft card and because the brown paper bag type paper looked similar I popped a faux stitch border around it to make it stand out a little more.
The pretty floral dies I used were cut from a scrap of Centura Pearl in pink using some of my bargain dies from China..I am still not well enough to hunt through dies like I usually do ,but as luck had it these were handy,I finished them off by shaping them and adding some pretty blue gems to the center ..I then added a pretty small pink spotted ribbon to the top corner to finish.

World Wide Open Dt Challenge October

Hiya,for this Beautiful image of the Flower Dress,I coloured her with Polychromos Pencilsonto Neenah Card..I decided not to use a background on her because of all the detail,but it her out and layered her onto a beautiful leaf green taking inspiration from her Dre’s..I also uses it the mat the gorgeous papers from Docrafts Bohemiem paper pad. To finish I added three white faux pearls on adjacent corner..a simple card,with a great WOW factor..ps I did not colour to match the papers ,I was looking through my pads and these ones just went perfect with it lol!, it’s even pearlescent too 😀 xx

Sasayaki Glitter ..New Challenge Orange

Hiya, for this challenge ,being Orange I chose this little cutie as the next two posts are going to be super cool images just right for Halloween so I did not want to do one for this one too..I have coloured her using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card, and I used Pastel Chalks for the background..Please note the image is just the girl and the background is just my doodling so does not come with the image.
I then popped some squiggles around the edge and mounted her onto craft card..
The papers I used were from a Polkadoodles cd called Magic Garden ..I could not find orange papers anywhere then remembered seeing these on there ,a little more of a teracotta but close enough to orange.I added a piece of cream lace and some natural hessian ribbon to the smaller piece of card then once the topper was added with 3D glue I added a small bow,to finish I added some faux pearls

Sasayaki Glitter New Release 1st Oct

Hiya...As usual I have coloured my image with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I cut her out and mounted her onto some green card ..The papers that i have used are from a Hunkydory pad called Florabunda and works wonderfully with this lovely summer image..The background is my own drawing and I did the back wall with pastel chalks..I have noticed that there are pencil marks on this now its been photographed..this is because I used the wrong side of the Neenah..Fore some unknown reason there is a smooth side and a slightly and I mean slightly rougher side ,this is the one I usually use,and I wondered why it was not playing right,now I know lol..funny how you get used to one thing but it does work better for the build up of the pencils and the blending on that side ,seems to slip on the smooth side..

Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Reminder

Hiya for the inspiration card for the challenge reminder I have made this beautiful bright colourful yet  simple card .. I coloured them in using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah ..I then added three circles in different coloured behind the bunnies..I then mounted it onto a Bright Blue,Yellow and Green card and simply stuck it to the white card base..I then cut out two stars and added a sentiment from Sweet Dixie sentiment stamps,It is clean and it really pops off the shelf,sometimes it is all that is needed for a card and in this case it worked perfect..

Sketch Saturday ..Sasayaki Glitter

Hiya,todays card for this challenge I have used my favourite Sasayaki Glitter winter girl image,I did her last year ,but could not resist again this year lol!..once coloured with my Polychromos Pencils I fussy cut her out..I then used Tonic Winter Wishes Paper pad and mounted them onto a beautiful toffee coloured card,As the main paper had the lovely gingerbread men on I used a lighter one for the panel....As you can see I have just popped a straight banner across my panel ,my mistake,but you can make slight variations on the sketch and this is mine..To finish the project I added all the main features the girl and panel with 3D glue gel and then I used a very small punch to cut some tiny snowflakes and scattered them around the card marking the center with a gold pen to just give a little bling to them ..

Sasayaki Glitter Second release of Sept

Hi ..For this new Release I have used Polychromos Pencils ,added a cloudy background to him and popped him onto some nice blue card after doing a cool squiggly line around the image first..I then used First Editions Neroli papers for the background papers..These were also mounted onto the same blue card..I then glued Shy into place and wrote out the sentiments and matted onto card cut offs and added these to the one side ..A lovely fun little card for any lad ..

World Wide Open DT Challenge ..September

Hiya..Todays lovely image has been coloured using my Polychromos pencils onto Neenah card,I then mounted her onto some beautiful deep blue card which I then carried through to the backing card..For this I used some card I brought from Kanban I think last year of C&C tv..and for this one I chose the gorgeous embossed doves and they have Peace on Earth under them..It would be nice if there was ..The other is white trees embossed onto gold and it was an off cut from a project from last year and I felt it would fit beautifully with this..To finish I have used some dies from China,but I think I actually have a set of these I brought a few years back, but I cannot remember the make off hand..To finish I added clear gems to the centers ,these actually pick the gold as well as bring through the grey tones in her hair..My favourite Christmas card yet this year ..Thank you for popping by

Sasayaki Glitter Sept Challenge Brown

This was a fun card to do..I coloured the little fella with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..Please note that the background and foreground is just my artwork and nothing to do with the stamp,so will not be included I then trimmed and mounted it onto craft card.. Then cut and mounted the backing papers onto craft card..The papers are from Tonic's Woodland Walk paper pad..I used an unbranded die set from China but I believe you can get similar from Marianne Designs if you cannot find this dinosaur set,cut out both in craft card and drew what I wanted on like the eyes and toes etc..Yhen used pencil to give the textured look you sort of expect a dinosaur to haveand stuck them on with 3D glue so they are slightly proud of the image..The photos do not do justice to this card ,I am afraid my lighting is not so good tonight..
