40th Ruby Anniversary Moonbeam Meadows Card

Hiya ..As you all know I create for Crafter's Companion.. I like to use their papers and images expecially the stamps as you know Colouring is really my favourite..I was asked to make this by a friend for someone she knows ..I did now want a traditional 40 th Anniversary card as everyone has those so I wanted Wow and you can Produce Wow with Crafters Companion the papers are excellent and the images are just delightful.. I have used the kissing mice from Moonbeam Meadow Everyday ..I have coloured them with Polychromos as my hands are sore at the moment and these are a lot softer for me and also thicker..But I must state YOU CAN get the same results from SN Pencils too as they are also my other set of pencils:) ..I used an oval frame set from Tonic called Art Nouveau..this was requested by my friend as she had seen it on another card I had done ..this is why the card has not got my CC. Design team Badge on it ...
But the papers which I mounted onto red card are from the cd..Then I used one of Sheena;s 5x7 India embossing folders onto some pink card to add texture ,backed with rec card too ..I then added the topper with Collall 3Dglue gell and cut out the Wild Rose Briar also from Sheena ,from the perfect partner range ,I colured the leaves with a CG3 ,SN pen and the petals with a Faber Castell Gell stick..Added a bow with spparkly shimmery hearts on it  to the top of the frame and added the leaves and flowers with the 3D glue gel, to finish I added some white quilled strips to the centers for something a little different ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Scrappers Delights FB Inspiration Card

Hiya ..Todays card from Scrappers Delights is an inspiration card for the Face Book Challenge.. I used a latge tonic die throughout to cut firstly the card back, out of 300 gsm Craft card, Cutting two pieces for the main card ,then I folded about an inch down on the back piece . This was then glued down with a quick tack strong wet glue..This needs to be a strong hold as you do not want the card to fall to pieces on someones shelf . I then pit this to one side to allow to thoroughly dry.The main topper is coloured with Faber Castell Pencils on Neenah Solar White card..I then uded a smaller die of the same set these are by the was Tonics Celtic Dream Dies..but this time as i only wanted a small difference between the actual topper and black suround I drew around the inside of the die I wanted to use ,then hand cut..Then for the the black card I drew around the outside of the same die and I got a small but neat backing of black card..I know its a bit excessive ,but it is well worth it sometimes.I glues the black down to the card and then using 3D glue by Collall I then attached the topper..Finally I die cut some small clouds from Crafter's Companion and glued to finish..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Rick St.Dennis 16th Birthday cards for Grandson

Well my lovely Grandson turned 16 on June 3rd and he is a big fan of The Walking Dead and any thing gruesome or scarey, just like his mum lol.So what better than to go for one of Rick St Dennis Digi stamps..I coloured the images in with my Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card, and both are on 8x8 bard blanks so they are quite large too. ..They took some thinking out and a lot of resourcing for grungy stuff for the backing papers but I am pleased with how they have turned out and so was he I took the pictures in natural light and sorry I really do not think they do these cards Justice..Thanks for Looking :)xx.

My Besties UK Challenge Inspiration (Ribbon)

This is one of Sherri's newer releases, such a pretty little image ..I have coloured her in using Faber Castelle Polychromos pencils on Neenah Solar White 216 gsm card..As I was colouring her I was thinking how romantic and sweet she was so I created an aurora borialis sort of effect on her dress and then added pretty deep pink roses..topped her with a gorgeous golden crown on her Jet black with blue highlight hair.. I have taken a lot of pictures ,but sadly she is not showing up as beautiful as she actually is in real life.. I have also used Crafter's Companion Papers from the Moonbeam meadows throughout and the matching insert too..The embossing folder I used on the right hand side is one of Sheena's Indian ones a 5x7 one and has given the card a bit of texture.. I added one of those fantasy sort of colour ribbons to the left panel as this picks the colour of the card up lovely and adds a bit of glamour too..To finish I added a tag with the cut out of the flower punch in it and backed with the same card as the rest of the matted pieces.. I glued the topper on with Collall 3D glue gel then punched a lot of flowers ,shaped and added the pearls and stuck on with 3D glue too,and added the label..Thank you for Looking :)xx

Crafter's Companion Scruffy Little Kittens Stamps

I have been so thrilled to be working on this launch..The whole CD and the Stamps are Just Delightful, and would suit children of all ages ..Even big ones lol..I have kept the first two stamped cards seperate from the CD for two reasons ,one it was easier for me to do and I wanted to showcase the stamps on their own.. I think that Crafter's Companion is really producing some fabulous stamps and cds now and they are an absolute pleasure and so easy to work with even for a beginner.
For this card I used the papers from the cd and mounted them onto bright yellow card ..The main card blank is a 7x7 square I used a pre- made one. I added the insert ,the layered pieces to the card with Collall all purpose glue and left to dry whilst I dealt with the topper . She has been coloured with Spectrum |Noir Pencils onto Meenah Solar white 216gsm card ( i use this always for all Pencilwork and Pens too )
the pencils I used are
0658,091,097,027,005,097,021,093,120,004,089,022,017
I also uses a Stumpy and Blending fluid to blend the pencils together .. Then due to the time of morning as I keep vampire hours drew around a Die and cut out the stamp ,Using red pen I zig zagged around the shape then using a yellow pencil went around the wdge to give the effect of layering.. I then stuck it onto the now dried base card with Collall 3D glue gell and also using the same glue added the red blooms and gems to finish and added the sentiment also from the stamps too Hope you like her and thank you for visiting :)xx

My Besties UK ..Same but Different

I like doing these as the team all do the same stamp and it is amazing just how different each one interpretates it.. Well I have to admit for me this time it has been a challenge from get go..I coloured her onto Neenah card with Polychromos pencils..I started fine then decided to do something different with the hair ..lol..then changed my mind half way through ,but I actually love how it turned out ..I have used a Tonic die for the background as I thought I would try something different,it was to be a card then I changed my mind it is now a wall hanging lol, told you I had a few design problems ,but it shows that those cards you see by the designers do not always go smoothly ..Ideas don't just jump in our heads ,sometimes we struggle too or a project evolves like this one did and comes out great in the end lol..Its all about having fun and enjoying what your doing.  The die I used is the new Celtic Dream..Beautiful die and very large too. I used mainly craft card throughout ,but used a pink paper from the Crafters Companion Scruffy Little Cat cd sandwiched between the layers to give a pop of colour.. The flower die I used is also a Crafters Companion one ,Its one of Sheena's Perfect Partners ,its the wild rose ..my favorite at the moment ,especially for this time of year.and I used Collall all purpose glue and 3d gel glue to give flowers and topper more depth..Thanks for popping by :)xx
