Morgansartworld Saturday Inspiration Card

Hiya..I have coloured this beautiful image today with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah Card.. I then cut a Frame in White Centura Pearl and put it over the image to made it look as though it is 3d by using Collall 3D glue gel..I used a Crafter's Companion Rose design folder onto some pink Centura pearl card ,cut it to size and mounted onto some white Centura Pearl left over from the circle frame then stuck the topper on the top of this.I then used a Tonic pearlin a bottle glitter drop thing ,sorry my first time and they are a bit uneven but still it gives a bit of texture.I then used paper from CC An English Country Garden Paper pad ,These papers are really thick and feel beautiful.I mounted this onto Pink Centura Pearl..Once I added the panel onto the background I then cut some of Tonic Magnolia Flora Dies in White Centura Pearl and in Purple Centura Pearl, this brings out the purple of the older fairies dress,I then added these once shaped with 3D glue gel I tend to use this both in creating in between the petals and also to glue them down with because I find it gives the flowers a more natural look ,Ok not so much these ones but mostly on more natural looking flowers..To finish I then added multi faux pearls in a pink to the centers of the flowers and some others to the card ..Thank you for popping by :) xx

Knitty Kitty DT Card.. New Release

Hiya..Today's card ids another first for me today..I have coloured this lovely image in with my new set of Conte a Paris Pastel Pencils..I brought these for doing my backgrounds on my work ,but got carried away once I started and just carried on with them..I used Neenah card and was not sure if it would be ok,but it was fine..They blended fabulous using just a stumpy..I used pastels at school and I remember how dirty a job it was ,but now with pencils and stumpy it is so clean..One thing though ,you do need to work from the top and slowly work your way down to prevent any smudging and a piece of paper is handy if you need to go over anything too ..All in all , a fun project, and I think I will do again but try different papers ,so if you fancy trying pastels have a go its great fun..Don't forget you have to fix the Pastels ..I used the old trick of using Hairspray. .
For the background Papers I used Tonic Studios Woodland Walk,These were backed onto black card as was the completed topper. For the decoration I have cut some of the smaller Spellbinder Labels 48  dies out i gold and placed them as shown on the card ..and on one of the larger of the two I cut it in white and wrote Fore!! You on it and did my wriggle thing around it to decorate..Thank you for popping by :) xx

Digital Delights by Louby Lou

Hiya ,This was a lovely project to do I coloured the pretty image with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I then fussy cut it out and popped to one side..Then I created the card using one of the Duch Doo Ba Doo stencil shapes..and cut it out getting smaller and smaller first with outside deep blue/turquoise card, then white ,Tonic papers from Simply Blossoms for the final two, then around the yellow dotted paper I added faux stitching and a branch to which I added the two pretty die cut birdcages cut from the Kimono range at Crafter's Companion..I added the pretty image with 3D gell glue and punched out a lot of medium sized x-cut punched flowers..I sprinkled these along the branch and on the floor and popped some tiny gems into the centers of them..Its very time consuming doing a project like this as the card had to be hand cut ,but it does give you an awful lot of satisfaction when its finished lol!..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter Kid with Kite

This has been a real labour of love as it is such a sweet image..The image comes from the store with just the bou in the cart with the kite..The background is my own work.. I have coloured him in with Polychromos pencils onto Neenah card ,He was then cut to size and mounted onto black card..The background papers are from First Edition Up,Up and away and go so nicely with this card ,being cute but not pretty ,just perfect for a little fella. All these were also mounted onto black card too..I added the topper with 3D gel glue to give a bit of depth and kept the decoration simple as it was for a boys card with some pretty gems I got from Ebay ..these remind me of the Spangle sweets that you could buy when I was a kid.. Yep I am older than 21 lol!..All the dots and squiggles were added with a black medium Pitt pen..as with many of my cards there is a space left for a sentiment and the child's name or age too ..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Faery Ink Wedding

Hiya ,todays card is made from a beautiful image from Faery Ink..I have coloured her using Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I then drew the heart using a slightly smaller die than the one I used to cut the gold backing for the image..This was then fussy cut out so it over flowed the edges and tipped into the card..I then 3D gel glued it on top of the gold mat heart and left to dry..The Papers I have used are from Crafter's Companion Signature range The English Country Colection, perfect for vintage and or wedding cards ..These were matted onto Gold Mirri on the front and onto Centura Pearl on the Heart and the Tattered lace Panel and other heart which is not clearly visable (I did not really like it once I had glued it down ,so quick design change lol!) ,just popping out from under the flowers, but it adds a different tone to the gold Mirri...The flowers are Tonic Woodland Asters..To finish the card I added pretty pink resin pink roses to the center of the flowers, this helps bringing the pink from the bouquet and the flowers on the paper all together and also add an elegant touch..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Saturday Inspiration Morgans Artworld

This Saturdays image is once more coloured with my Polychromos pencilsonto Neenah cardI then drew around a die to get the heart into the position I wanted and also to have the little bits popping over the edge too.I then did the same with some beautiful Mink coloured Centura pearl card ..I then fussy cut both out ,because of the early morning hours and I have somehow misplaced my smaller die machine ( Cuttlebug ) plate,I had to do it this was as the Ebosser sounds like a train running through the flat at four in the morning ,just because I am up ,others sleep lol! ..Once done they were glued together with 3D gel glue ,putting to one side as I created the card to dry..
The papers are from Crafter's Companion an English Country Garden Paper Pad,the best part of this card is I have used a lot of odds and ends like bits cut off the last card I made Papers, last bit of Hessian and lace and last of that size gems ,so it cleared some stash too..Just got tons more to go lol!..The papers are also mounted onto the same Centura Pearl ..But I had to initially use red tape to put the Hessian down and the lace ,then glued with 3D glue gel onto the card to make sure it all stuck down firmly and not pop off...To finish I added a pretty satin ribbon and added a Love from the CC Signature range from the die which has I Love You in the set..Thank you for popping by :)xx
