My Besties, Anything goes ,with a Silver

These adorable girls are what first got me into colouring and this is my first of what I hope of many DT post for them .. I have used silver as my background throughout and also coloured her hair silver too . Right from the beginning the lovely image is coloured in using Poly Chromos Pencils on Neenah solar white card .,I outlined the chosen die to go around her and hand cut it out paying attention to the tiny bows at her feet. I then did the same with the silver card as it was about four in the morning and being in a flat ..well you understand..The Tonic die-cut I already had so I coloured with BT2 and BT4 Spectrum Noir Pens to get a slight varied effect then I backed this with silver card too..These pieces were then all glued together with Collall 3D glue and set to one side whilst I started matting and layering my backgrounds up. The two papers both come from a fabulous paper pad by DCWV Fresh Floral Stack.. I mounted these all onto silver card using Collall All Purpose glue, Then added to a cream 8x8 card blank.. To finish I added the topper using Collall 3D glue and the flowers and hand written tag to give dimension ..

You can get the lovely image from the ETSY shop here

Scrappers Delights anything goes with a twist..Favourite Colours

Its Challenge time again and here is my inspiration and it was so much fun too .I just love the beautiful colours so rich and vibrant and of course my favourite colours.. I have used Crafters Companion  Neenah Solar White card, I coloured the Lovely image in with Spectrum Noir pens and coloured pencils, then I fussy cut her out. I then chose three complimentary papers from a DCWV Paper Pad called Fresh Florals Stack. I mounted each onto some green card I got from Lidl last summer. This I then arranged as shown onto the card base which is an 8x8.The smaller piece directly behind the fairy I popped a butterfly edge border for a bit of interest. When all this was done,I then gently shaped the fairy around a thin bottle to give her a bit of shape so when she was placed on the card she would not look flat..Then I added her with £d glue gel Brilliant as it gives a bit of wiggle so if you need minute adjustment it's there. The flowers are cut out of White Centura Pearl with a hint of gold. I have used the new Crafters Companion flowers that have recently come out as I thought they just suited the card nicely. The buds at the end are done by removing two of the petals off the forget-me-not ones and gluing with tacky glue..I added gems and a butterfly cut from a free die from one of the mags last year..Just love free.Thank you for looking :)x

The beautiful image can be found here ... She is a part of a set but you can find individual single pixies here in the shop under fairies and under fantasy too :)x

Footie .Does not need to be boring ...

This is my other card for my friend..I do not like football, and for all the time I have been friends with her I have done footy cards for her Son..well there is only so much you can do with a shirt and a football rofl..I designed the paper on my Docrafts Digital program, printed it out found a football tube and then using a vintage Forever friends digi of the Docrafts Digital kit I have i coloured it up with Prismacoulours on Neenah card..Fussy cut it out and rolled it around a small bottle to shape.I Then mounted the paper onto black card and added it to my 8x8 card blank.Cut the football in half and added it to the top of the paper.  To finish I added the Topper with 3D glue  to make it stand proud and give dimension. It has turned out to be a fun card and She wad just tickled pink with it ,thank you for taking the time to look :)x

Crafter's Companion Moonbeam Meadow Frame Card

A long time friend asked me to do a couple of cards for her so this is the one it is a Moonbeam Meadow Everyday Frame card and it is just simply gorgeous..I live this disc such pretty images and papers all the way through... Its easy to do as it is click and print.. Cut carefully around the outside of the frame card..When you have done this you will see there are very fine marks on the paper, these are your score lines ,so score along these lines ..please note it is not clear but I have enclosed a picture highlighting the cut lines from the center to the from that need cutting I do hope it is clear enough for you (see bottom picture ) ,as they are only dots on your print out..Dont forget to cut the center out.The lines need to be nice and crisp for a good result..When you have done all this then using tacky glue because you need a very good quick strong bond ,glue all four corners.I find this easier to add the backing picture to put the Glue directly onto the frame and place over the picture and gently press, because you have a bit of wiggle space you can then do minor adjustments when you pick it up..I then left this to dry .Then I matted Up paper from the CD onto craft card added a ribbon and MUM in Silvercard from Dicuts and popped it onto an 8x8 card blank.
I then added the frame ,ribbon a sentiment and flowers to decorate..Thank You for looking and I hope this has helped :)x
Here is the diagram showing the cut for the center of the frame
Please remember to keep your
folds nice and sharp it maked the finished frame
look beautiful :)x

The TWEEDIES have arrived

There's Excitement at Crafters Companion. Tweedies have arrived and what a great fun CD it is full of beautiful papers and homespun creations that been created by using different materials, all sewn beautifully together to create the fantastic toppers ,card companions etc throughout the cd..There is something on here for every one..I so hope you enjoy my selection of samples I have done and appreciate how beautiful the imagary is on the CD..Thank you for looking :)x

This is the lovely sewing box that is on your CD
print  and cut out all your pieces, mount base onto black card then onto white Centura Pearl with a hint of gold..Then fold and glue the boxed use Tacky glue as you need a strong bond,
then fold the matchbox covers and glue with tacky glue also. then cut out the labels and mount onto black card..Using the   same glue carefully cut some thine pieces of ribbon fold in half and glue to the middle top of th box front then glue the rest the same.Place the finished boxes alternated like I have done around the base then glue with the tacky glue..Hold in place for a little while when they are all in place then they will stay in place and stay close together. Now with the Top piece do the same as the bottom with the black card and white.. sorry I did not do measurement because how I did this was lay it onto A4 card trim lengthwise so that there is a fair bit left over then fold in half as you can see on the picture.. I then matted and layered topper and added to the folded piece using tacky glue..I then decorated this with some paper of the CD.. Mat and layer the topper and stick to this with Tacky glue..Make a stopper with
the remaining label and decorate as you wish .I used a button punch and little card with twine on it that I cut free hand and wrapped twine around it and curled the end of the twine of it to help raise the buttons too

This is a very sweet Framed Card
I used a 7x7 card blank and matted the lovely paper from the cd onto craft card, I then cut out the frame and the inner circle it has a white rim when it comes off the printer and I wanted the natural craft card to come through instead,so cut it away, but you could mace a nice little frame to fit with your dies if you wish I then mounted the tag onto the craft card and shaped it with a pencil then stuck the outer frame down with Collall 3D gel glue and then added the center circle so it was slightly more proud.I mounted a sentiment and then cut the faux tape from the rest of the page I had printed..shaped that also with my pencil..I added these with the 3D gel glue too ..i dont like flat things stuck down its more interesting to add movement ..amd finished off with a verse on the inside and gems .

 Beautiful Faithful Friend Topper Companion
I loved this as soon as I saw it I like the shape. For this one I used an 8x8 card blank.I then matted the paper from the cd onto Gold Centura Pearl and added it to the card.after cutting and layering the main piece ,there are three pieces on each page in this section .I decided to go into the embellishment section where I found these fabulous little pendants ,one nas a hedgehog on and the other a pair of wellies..I matted them onto some of the left over card and bent them adound a thin tube to give shape I then glued these in place with 3D gel glue and popped some ribbon on them. Then I matted a piece of blue paler paper left over from one of my other cards and did faux stitching around the edge..Glued it onto the baed with Collall
All Purpose gluethen I added main topper with 3d Gel glueand
finished with black gems and added a verse from the cd .

Card Companion
I created this card from two sheets of Centura Pearl
with a hint of gold.. I folded at three inches and added
it to the other piece and trimmed to size..Then I matted
the paper I chose from the cd onto black cardI then cut all the bits but the flowers ,out from the printed sheet from the cd and matted and layered them.. I cut an edge from a diesire edging die and placed it on the card ,added the two larger topper pieces cut out a sentiment and the faux tape added the tape to the tags .. I then cut the flowers out I had some buttons left from a previous card and using 3D glue gel i popped them in the middle but felt they needed more so added a pink rose to each to finish and a few Leaves and gems too .

                                    Frame card

This is a very simple but looks hard and complicated card.. Its one of those you give someone and they think you have spent hours on and you have not hehe its our secret lol..It can be so nicely decorated up too.. Basically print it out,,cur it out, fold all the lines and glue..Top tip I can give you is make sure you have got nice crisp creases it not only makes it easier ,but it  looks absolutely gorgeous..Hardest part is popping the little strips around the inside of the frame, it is for me as my fingers dont work properly but you will do fine ...decorate as you wish.

Thank you for visiting :)x

Scrappers Delight Something Different from Normal

This is a lovely Image  have chosen this time..It is one of Scrappers older images and can also have wings too.I chose to cut a triangle  card out of Centura Pearl hint of gold..Then I covered it with a lovely paper I brought from Liddl last year ,which has encapsulated glitter running through it. I then found a nice sentiment on my DoCrafts Digital designer, cut it out and mounted it on craft card then onto a doily. After placing it onto the card I popped on the image and some flowers..added some gems for sparkle and popped some down the opposit edge..Thank you for looking :)x
