613 Avenue Create. Using a Rubber Stamp

Hiya,This is a first for me ..I have used a stamp for the first time to make a card..I don't stamp as a rule as I have arthritis in my fingers and it make's it very difficult to stamp..,also the stamps are usually smaller which is harder for me to colour in so I tend not to use them ..
I coloured her in using Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card then coloured the background in with craft chalks that have fine glitter throughout..very pretty ,but not very subtle...The Backing paper is from a Tonic Pad called Simply Blooms and has been mounted onto craft card ,as was the image.I used...
I mounted the paper onto the craft card and before I added it to the card blank I added a pretty lace strip, pleated across the card using red double sided tape,then added two rows of cross grain pale purple ribbon across to hide the small amount of sticky tape left showing and to finish it off too..I then placed the topper with 3D Glue Gel ,and added a double bow ..To finish I added some pretty gems to the left of the card and a lovely old button with a large gem in the middle of it to the middle of the bow..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter New challenge Purple

Hiya ,been a while since i last posted,yet another bad cold hit me..Had none for years and about three this year lol!..Todays challenge card is all done in purple..I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card and have squiggled a line around her to add a bit of interest and to frame her ,with a Pitt pen..I then mounted her onto some Purple linen type card ..The background papers are from my odds and ends box and Sorry I cannot remember who did them ,was grateful though as at the moment I think I am out of purples..I even had to do the band across the middle in two sections as I did not have enough of the paper to go across,so I added it to the matting card and covered the gap with the topper..See we do save bits for a reason ..So when he moans next time say "it is a very necessary lol! " after all they keep their junk all over the hous he !he ! he!..To finish I used three hydranga blossoms to the one side and some pretty faux violets to the center ..

Saturday Sketch card

Hiya ..For this fab card today ,using the layout below and a gorgeous Crafty Sentiments Stamp that I coloured in with PolyChromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I then fussy cut leaving a small white edge around her..The backing papers are from an old pad I got from Liddle about two yrs ago ,I did the card on Friday using some and realised that it also went well with this and found more papers for this one.. I mounted the first layer onto Pink ,but wanted to keep the fun colours going and rather than going for the same colour my matting in the middle is on a pretty mint green card ,both are linen look and they give some nice texture to the card..The backgrounds are glitter encapsulated and are so pretty..Behind the girl though I felt she got a little lost ,so before putting on the strip I used some Pastel chalks and coloured the section in behind her..This makes her pop more from the paper..The strip was cut and I drew a line on either side in white pen and added some dots down the edges to finish..The flower I made up from a large bloom which I coloured in green as it eas white..Then I added some pretty white and turquoise flowers in the center to make it more 3D ..
Now I have a confession to make..I went to Crafty Sentiments to get a stamp the other night ..I found this ..,popped it in my cart and another..Then found this was actually a rubber stamp and would not get here in time,in the end, I could not get my payment through so I had to leave both ..Then by chance I found this one  ..I have been looking in the shop link below for it and you know I cannot find it,but my head is thumping as I am not too good this week..I did find I had this already that I had done on another occasion on another team a long time ago so I just used it ..Then now I cannot find it..I even went for similar colours too..So please forgive me for not putting the direct link to the stamp ,as at the moment I just want to post this and go to bed ,its gone 3.30 in the morning

Sassayaki Glitter Challenge Reminder

Hiya ..This card has been a bit of a fun and games to do lol! ..Coloured with Polychromos Pencil and Touch five pens,The background was created using Pastel chalks to give a nice soft effect,I then did a thick squiggle around the image to frame it..Then mounted it onto Craft card..The fun and games came when I used the Dutch Doobadoo Template to create the background card for it lol!..I think in future I shall cut one of each size out in card as there are several sizes on the templateand then keep them for later use ,much easier ..The materiel the template is made from tends to wobble a bit and me I go loopy when using them ,Decide which section I am using,get around the bottom of the opposite side and duh! wrong lines lol ..what a game and when I am trying to get it done quickly too ..Anyway I digress..I chose to to side opening for this particular card rather than tent..The papers I have used are what is left from some paper pads I brought from Lidl's a couple of years ago and I just remembered there was some party themed ones in there..Very pretty too as they have encapsulated glitter all over the designs..I added these to Craft card too..The sentiment I used to finish and the flower were also from other papers in the pad and as they were so pretty I cut them out and used them..The flower is really sparkly ,and just finishes the card off nicely ..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter New Release

Hiya..For today's New release I have used the super cute  image Sleepy Head ..But as you know I like to leave my cards open for when I sell them ,so this one can be used as a birthday card too or even a n I Love you card..and there is room for an added Sentiment ..I think it has worked out fab..
The image has been coloured with Touch 5 pens and with Polychromos pencils.. I am still in need of pen practice,but am loving the combination of both mediums..I used Neenah card for the surface of the image,I find this works for me..The papers are from First Editions Love Letters and I have mounted them onto craft card..the layer under the image I did my scribble around the edge to make it pop out,and all my sentiments are hand done,squiggled around and mounted onto craft card too..The image who is 'Shy' , inspired by the artists children..I cut him out with a white outline..The first two papers were glued down flat ,but the main one I glued with 3D glue to give depth then added the image and the sentiments too with the 3D glue..To finish I cut and matted a few of the tags that are in the pad and added them after shaping them down the edge and finished with some pretty flowers with tiny hearts in the middle to cover where the holes were.

Morgans Artworld. ..Febuary Release

Hiya,this is my New release card and My fella's Valentines card too ..Does not need words on the front ,it says it all lol..I have coloured the beautiful image in using Polychromos pencils onto Neenah card,I then cut it out using one of the Mandella type Dies from Tonic,I think it was something Bramble,sorry I have had it ages and is stored on a magnetic sheet,..The main backing paper and the one inside are from First Editions Love Letters, and the pretty green smaller piece behind the image is from a Prima pad I had in a magazine a while back called Botanical Collection,which has a lovely grungy border around it and looks fab with the image..All the papers were matted onto Craft card..To finish I just added two hearts sparkly hearts in opposite corners..It is a simple card ,but it does not really need a lot as the image and the die are the main focus..Now to find a nice verse for the inside Thank you for popping by :)xx

Knitty Kitty Blog Hop



Hiya for todays card this one is a bit more exciting as it is for a Blog Hop..my first actually ,so if you

Please note ..Mine has the banner ,the one in the shop has not  but it is included in the bundle ...so I popped in a  Happy Birthday from my pc...
I have used a 8x8 card blank and coloured the lovely digi with both touch five pens and Polychromos Pencils,onto Neenah card ..I then used the new Desert Rose set from Tattered Lace ,the basic dies to cut it out..I coloured and squiggled around the edge to give it a border..The doily part of the set I cut in a pale turquoise ,and mounted it onto warm yellow..colours I brought out of the image..I fussycut around the edge as I wanted it a bit softer than a die cut and added half one side of the topper and one the other..Its subtle but very pretty ,and I did not really want it to shout out..I then added some shop brought flowers to both sides to finish
