Sasayaki Glitter New Release

Hiya..One thing with Halloween you can go crazy with colour and get away with it ,hence the green face lol!..I have coloured her in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card ,I then did a squiggle around the edge and added a few more spiders and a cobweb to help set the scene..I deliberately gave the background a dusty, puffy feel to add to the mood and of course a moon with the clouds and a bat flying over. This was then mounted onto black card as were the papers..These were from First Editions Mulbery Kisses..Ssorry they look beige on the picture but they are actually more Purple as the name Mulbery means..,for some unknown reason ,just does not show on the pics...After matting and layering the papers down I used a felt mat I have in my stash to pop behind the topper ..It really helps bring out the black in the card as well as looks a little creepy too.I placed this behind the topper which was then added using 3D glue Gel..To finish I used some tiny square gems I brought off Ebay, these look like sweeties so I drew some faux wrappers onto them and then glued the squares down ..these are my treats ,the trick is getting the lovely Dorrie onto the broom to fly off into the moonlight lol! ..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Kitten in a Cup

I found this new digi on Etsy ,she is from a new Designer from Pennsylvania in the United States, She has just been showing her stampps on FB so look out for her ,her name is Jennifer Nilsson..I think you will be seeing a lot of her work soon as she is very talented.. I have coloured the lovely image in using Polychromos pencils onto Neenah card..I then cut this out with a Tattered Lace  Essential notched rectangle die, then cut some dark green Centura Pearl for the mat..The papers I have used are from First Editions Desert Blooms and these have also been matted onto the Centura Pearl too..The flowers are made up from some shop brought blooms I brought years ago ,and have been shaped and layered with 3D gel glue.,to finish I just sprinkles the odd leaves around the frame..I have made this for a cat loving neighbour ,I think she will love it Thank you for popping by :)xx

Guest designer 3D card

Hiya!..For this card I have used a lovely Lemon Shorbread image..My friend requested it to be done in 3D so this is my version..Boy its harder than just normal decoupage as you need to colour so much of each image so it does not show white on the edges..I have coloured her three times onto Neenah card with my Polychromos Pencils and fussy cut her out,I used 3D gel glue to build the layers as its easier for me as my fingers are not very nimble and I can add as much or little as I wish to get the depths I want too.
I used Tonic dies for the beautiful doily and the flower ,the papers are from First editions Mulberry Kisses and the Best Wishes are Tattered Lace..The papers and the flowers are matted onto Pink Centura Pearl..I used these as they give a soft shimmer to the card which is really pretty in both daylight and night light too..The dies used behind the image itself are ones I got from China ,so sorry no name for them just a great bargain for me lol!..I used white card to back the leaves and the flowers and a pretty pearlised resin rose was popped into the center of each on to finish..Thank you for visiting today :)xx

Saturday Inspiration Morgans Artworld

Hiya I have been waiting ages to colour this one ,I think she is so pretty I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card...The frame is a shop brought chip board frame which came in two pieces.I covered the front with glitter paper from First Editions Desert Blooms and used some torn off cuts from a piece of paper from their Mulberry Kisses pad to bring a bit more colour and texture into the frame. For the decoration I used Burlap ribbon and some pretty floral lace ,I backed the lace with the ribbon at the bottom to make it stand out more ,but used it as a band as you can see and a bow on the top.To finish I added some shop brought blooms and added pearlescent roses to the center of each one..I would have added acetate to cover the picture ,but it photographs better without..
The frame just cost a pound ,and could make a lovely gift or a special card, a keepsake for a special birthday or wedding etc..you can use a coloured image or even a photograph to make it special ..its will make someone smile that they have something so bespoke and made with love too ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter New Challenge Card

I have coloured the freebie from last month for this challenge card..It is one of those cute fun monster ones that when you were a kid you wished you thought monsters were like ha! ha!.Mine had glowing eyes and watched me in the dark ..but I digress ..I have coloured this with Polychromos onto Neenah card.I then fussy cut them out as I had a plan, yep it changed a few times and I decided to go with this ..and I ran out of time, had to have a few days off ..never mind all done and I know any child would love this :)..
All the papers I have used are from my scrap bin of odds n ends so I cannot remember which they are as some have come from big sheets.I have matted onto black card and layered them all up giving a lot of movement and a a complete sense of fun..as I don't normally do much Halloween until this year I do not have any dies to decorate,so I brought the fun colours of the papers out by adding matching buttons..and to finish I added a few cobwebs with a white pen on the darker paper ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Digital Delights By Louby Loo..New Release

It's New release day at Digital Delights today..This lovely image comes in a set which also includes a sentiment and a lovely letterbox too. I have just chosen to do the figure as this time I chose the paper first . I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card and have fussy cut her leaving a white edge around her to make her stand out a bit more from darker background and to be added to the card with 3D gel glue when its constructed..
The papers I used are Craftwork Cards Festive Chalkboards..These papers are so beautiful and it is nice that there are also a couple of scenes included in the pad too, this is one of them, and just perfect for the lovely figure too.I matted the papers onto gold card and for the decorations I have used CC Classic Snowflakes which I also cut from the gold card, using the off cuts so no waste on this card which is great.I layered the whole set for the large one in the bottom corner ,but just cut the small one single ..I then added pretty red gems to the centers that have a small gold snowflake on those as well..Quite a simple card but the matting makes it look rich and the gold snowflakes finish it perfectly ..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Twinkle toes the Little Troll

Hiya,I saw one of these of FB the other day and I know I am no longer on the team but ..Well she is just adorable and I just fancied colouring for me as a change ,and I do have Birthdays coming up soon too so I shall use it for one of those.and I just had to have her lol!..
I have coloured her wit Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card. I then drew around the die I wanted to use so that it got the main part of her in it and then fussy cut her out..Then cut out the background with a lovely raspberry coloured card  I found in my stash , last two sheets too,but goes nice with her hair. This was cut on my Ebosser though for crispness..I added the cut topper then to this with 3D glue gel and left to one side to dry..The die I used is by Yvonne Creations and it is called Magnificent Christmas frame YCD10001 ,I sent for this from America ,but these dies are slowly coming over to the UK now and they have some lovely designs too so watch out for them .The papers are from Tonics Folksey Florals and I feel these just worked beautifully with the image..The flowers are from LeCrea'Designs and is Multi flower 009 or no. Leane'451550 so hope this helps..to finish I added some pretty gems to the center and some very sparkly heart gems scattered around..Thank you for visiting :)xx

613 Avenue Create Monthly Challenge ..Twist Gold and Green

Hiya ,todays challenge card has been made with an image from Toadstool Printable's on Etsy..There are some really pretty quirky stamps of little people and flowers with animals as well as more this type of image ..,so worth having a look through.
I have coloured him in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card...The background was coloured using chalk as I just wanted it to look light.I them mounted him onto Gold Mirror card ,this I also did with the backing papers too..I have used for the main background a paper from First Editions Gilded Christmas ..beautiful papers throughout ,you will see more as I do more Christmas cards no doubt. The strip of green and white Mirri card behind the image is from a big stack I acquired from C&C a month or so ago and is made by Kanban ..This addition helps to pop the green on the snowman's hat and scarf. The gold die-cuts I have used are Spelbinders Holiday Greetings No 4..To finish I added a sentiment and popped some gems in the center of the star/snowflake,these themselves have a tiny snowflake in them..very pretty..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter New Release SPOOKY!!

This is one cute owl I have coloured him in using the Touch Five pens everyone is talking about on FB ..They perfom really well for the money so I have had a really good workout with them,As you who visit me now and then know I usually use Pencils as not very good with pens at all.
I wanted to keep this bright and fun so I chose to do the wiggly line thing around the outside of the image ,then a few blacked in sections..I matted onto Purple Mirri card as its Halloween and its brighter and fun instead of black..The papers for this one are from Tonic, from the Simply Blossoms paper pad.these too were mounted onto the purple Mirri.I placed some sort of grassy feeling ribbon that florists use  behind where the main image was going to go ,then glued the topper in place with 3D glue to help hold it in place ...then to finish some gold plastic stars were added ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Morgans Artworld Saturday Inspiration

Hiya..Today's inspiration card is done from the freebie that was on the blog a few months ago ,and I never had time before to do.I have coloured it in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card, then mounted it onto Pink Centura Pearl card...For the main part of the card I used a full piece of the same Centura Pearl and folded it four times so as to make a kind of hump in the middle to which after decorating I attached the topper. The paper used was from CC English Country Garden Paper pad and the Flowers are from Tattered Lace  they are called Tuck in Flowers.
I used this as often you see these pretty frames either in print or in dies and it scares some people as they are not sure what to do ..I know when I first started I would not ,.to be honest I was a little worried as I has coloured it and I left it on the shelf  before deciding what to do ..that is where the scene came in ..what a great idea and I think it worked out nicely..easy done ..it was really! just a few lines and I just had to add the couple walking the dog in the distance lol!..But you could also do this with a print or even a photo too if you don't feel as brave..Colouring and cardmaking is a journey ,and you do not know what you can do until you try or experiment with ..So have fun try new things and think outside the box it can suprise you ..but most of all have fun doing it..Thanks for popping by :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter New Release ..Dragoon

Hiya ,for this super cute image I have coloured her in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I then used a Tonic circular fancy die ,it is in three pieces,Sorry I dont remember the name but it is from the Verso range..(I store my dies in a Magnetic sheet wallet and this one did not have it's name on it,),I used the outer two..I drew around the image with the inside of the fancy  die so that I could get the image in the circle with her tail sticking out..I then fussy cut it out. I then cut the two outer dies out in some pretty lilac card..The papers were also mounted onto the same card ,and they are from the CC English Country Garden..The beige had wiggly lines put around it using a Pitt pen and the Pink Faux stitches..I kept the card simple as I wished the image and die to be the main feature ,but did add some faux pearl star gems to the two corners ad decoration and also a With Love sentiment..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter ..Turtle and Duck

Oh my Gosh I LOVE THIS!!..who would not? lol!..I fell in love with her when I first saw her and knew I had to do this stamp It is from the last release..The background is my creation you will only get the stamp ,but it is actually created with only a few lines and grass points so you could have a go..I have coloured her in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card and I have mounted it onto some pretty blue card ..The Papers I have used are from First Editions Floral Pavilion and just went so beautifully with this image ,keeping it pretty and girly...These too have been mounted onto the same pretty blue card..I put faux stitching around the dotted paper to add a bit of an edge to it and added a strip from one of the other papers from the collection, down it too almost as a ribbon..More than one would have been too much. The flower is from a die I brought when I first started crafting and I am sorry I cannot remember what it was but I have done multiple of each layer and it gives it the sort of Camelia look . and to finish I added some of the petals cut up and coloured with a CC Sparkle pen in green, I creased these and pinched them on the ends so they look more like leaves.I then popped a resin rose in the center and added to the card  and added a couple of pink faux pearl gems to finish..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Digital Delights By Louby Loo

Hiya..for today's project for Digital Delights I went along with the Halloween theme and also had a play with some of the Touch Five pens that a lot have been going on about on FB..I Will be honest i first started colouring him in Pencils then ..Yes I do have bad days I made a right mess of his face and he ended up being thrown away and as time was a little short I decided to go down the Pen line for more speed than anything.. The pens work lovely ,but I as you know am not a Pen colourist..I found that the ones that came out of the bag they came in,that were facing bullet nib down which I used  worked a lot smoother than ones in the other way around ,so now I store them on their side so they are even.. I am still not a Pen colourist and not happy with my blending I have to put my hands up and admit I still did the shading and the shadows with my Polychromos...But he has come out nice and bright and colourful just as I wanted him too ..
I used one of the cheap sandwhich bags from one of the pound shops I think about 10 fotr £1 ,making it a cheap project...The papers are from a Tonic Paper Pad ,but I cannot remember which I think one from two different ones..I have mounted these first onto black card, then onto some Purple Mirror card,The Mirror stands out more in real than in the pics sorry. Then onto an off cut of black card  I backed it with Purple Mirror then drew a Squiggle line in a White Uni Pen around it to make it pop ..I put Trick or Treat in the bottom right hand corner then added to the bag..I then popped the cut out image on using 3D glue gel .. Then used a black Pitt Pen to draw some creepy crawlies around on the red dot paper to finish..A great idea if you want cheap gift bags for a Halloween party,or to do as a birthday carrier bag, obviously without the spooky image lol!..Have fun and thanks for popping by :)xx

Saturday Inspiration card for Morgan's Artworld

I have followed the theme of the challenge this time for the Saturday card..It is to use Craft card..For this card I used a Sheena Douglas Wood Grain embossing folder and ran the craftcard through the Ebosser.I then decided to use the reverse of the folder I prefered the markings on that side..Then useing Tim Holtz Rusty Hing,Dark Brown and Mowed Lawn ink pads to colour the surface of the craft card..I only added a small amount of the green ,but you must remember when doing wood there is moss on trees and more than just brown.I am well impressed how it came out..I then mounted it onto a fresh piece of craft card to support it and also to straighten it out..I also used a heavier weight glue for this too as I did not want it to be wavy,so  used Cosmic Shimmer..I am not to keen on using it on thinner papers it seems to leave a bit of a ridge, but on this brilliant.
The image is coloured onto Neenah card using Polychromos Pencils..For this one I have tried a slightly new technique, and done a lot of blending with just the pencils..Also I have done a lot more work on the skin, adding more colours, shadows and am really quite pleased with how she turned out too ,Her colouring is much more realistic..However not too sure that this would look so good on the more cartoon characters I do for other teams, but I felt this one needed more work. Hope you like the difference ..The wood grain and the colours I chose has given it a beautiful Autumnal feel..,it was good fun going outside the box, both with the background and with her too..after all it's what crafting is all about learning new things and growing in our own skills, but most of all loving what you do..So have fun ..Thanks for popping by :)xx

Digital Delights Monday Hostess Card

For this card today I have used ..Flurry the Snowman ,it has been done for a special post on Digital Delights called "Hostess Monday" and it was my turn today.. I have coloured him with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I then fussy cut him out ready to pop on the card. then cut the center piece of snow fall card ,it is from First Editions Festive Treats,as is the other paper behind it too.I used the CC new contemporary Christmas dies scene for the background at the very back and hand cut the two front slopes and the snowballs..these were all glittered along the edges to give the layers and scene a bit of depth and sparkle too...Once stuck onto the backing papers I then trimmed them to fit the paper and mounted them onto Centura Pearl red card as I did the other paper..It was all then glued onto the 8x8 card base ,there is a snowfall insert matching inside too. The snowballs were then glittered and popped in place a great way to cover up marks if you have any ..um! well! to be honest I did that's where the idea came from lol! Well we all have accidents he! he !... and I used 3D glue to put Flurry in place this makes him stand proud from the card and of cours looking more 3D and giving the scene a bit more depth too..Thank you for visiting :)xx

613 Avenue Create ..Rick St .Dennis Christmas Card

I was absolutely delighted to be colouring a Rick St.Dennis image again..This beautiful image has been coloured using Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I then cut it out using the Tattered Lave notched squares..It was mounted then onto Gold card ..Yes! gold has come out Christmas cards just have to have the shimmer.. The papers I chose are from the Tonic Christmas paper pads ,also mounted onto gold. The main image I kept on a white background as there was going to be a lot going on in this card so I did not want the image to get lost...For.. directly behind the image I used a piece of foiled craft card from Kanban it was from a Birthday selection of foiled craft cards I brought but as it had stars on it I just knew it would look perfect..I used the larger of the notched squares to cut this out and the gold matting and glued down with 3D glue gel to add a bit off depth. The stars/snowflakes are from Spellbinders and are called Holiday Greetings 4 and look exquisite ..I finished these with some beautiful gems that are iridescent with a gold snowflake on them, and to finish I added a sentiment that was matted onto gold card, this was in the back of the Paper pad...This card looks nice on here but on the shelf it just wows ,because to get good pictures you need lighting so bright it sometimes looses a little of the card ..It is beautiful Looks really rich and one of my favourites so far that I have done for Christmas ..but this is only about number three or four lets wait and see lol!..Thank you for popping by  :)xx

Sassayaki Glitter New Release

Today's card has been a bit of fun,and completely different for me ..First I coloured the lovely image in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card, then fussy cut it out ,then for the background I used my Brushos on Watercolour card..not quite got the effect I wanted ,but I do like it and it makes a different type of baby card, and does make a change from using papers.Once dry I mounted it onto some raspberry coloured card, then using one of the tonic Sentiments in their Baby collection I cut out the Baby Girl in the same card and the white..I used the white off-set to help it stand out more from the background. I then stuck the Panda in place using 3D gel glue.To finish I added some pretty glitter hearts and a couple of sparkle flowers to the words. Thank you for popping by :) xx

Sleepy Kitties ..Sassayaki Glitter DT card

Hiya, Today's card is coloured with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I mounted the image onto craft card ,then onto white to create a nice crisp frame around it.The Papers are from Tonics Midsummer Morning Paper Pad,these have been matted onto craft card allso.. I really did not want the flowers to be heavy on this card as I wanted it sweet rather than swamped with flowers that overwhelm it ,so I chose to punch some white daisies out and added these ,and for the centers I used one of the Tonic glitter pearl glues ..these are really easy to use so I think I shall have to get some more as they are just right for the center of smaller flowers ..Thank you for visiting :)xx
