Saturday Inspiration Morgans Artworld

This Saturdays image is once more coloured with my Polychromos pencilsonto Neenah cardI then drew around a die to get the heart into the position I wanted and also to have the little bits popping over the edge too.I then did the same with some beautiful Mink coloured Centura pearl card ..I then fussy cut both out ,because of the early morning hours and I have somehow misplaced my smaller die machine ( Cuttlebug ) plate,I had to do it this was as the Ebosser sounds like a train running through the flat at four in the morning ,just because I am up ,others sleep lol! ..Once done they were glued together with 3D gel glue ,putting to one side as I created the card to dry..
The papers are from Crafter's Companion an English Country Garden Paper Pad,the best part of this card is I have used a lot of odds and ends like bits cut off the last card I made Papers,last bit of Hessian and lace and last of that size gems ,so it cleared some stash too..Just got tons more to go lol!..The papers are also mounted onto the same Centura Pearl ..But I had to initially use red tape to put the Hessian down and the lace ,then glued with 3D glue gel onto the card to make sure it all stuck down firmly and not pop off...To finish I added a pretty satin ribbon and added a Love from the CC Signature range from the die which has I Love You in the set..Thank you for popping by :)xx

New Release Sasayaki Glitter

Today's Lovely release I have chosen to colour Dino Girl,She is coloured with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I used Tattered Lace basic torn edges ovals to cut her out and also for the craft card mount behind her too.The Backing papers ,also mounted onto craft card are from Tonic Mid Summer Mornings Paper pad, great value for money as well as a lot of beautiful fun patterns too..The flowers are from Crafter's Companion and are from the Signature Collection Floral Delight.,the leaves another Tattered Lace die Floral Layers 3,pretty leaves in sets of three sizes,these go nicely with a lot of daisy type flowers.,to finish I added some pretty gems to the centers of the flowers and a few to the pink layer of  card, I have left a space for a sentiment as I will wait untill I send it to someone and the pc  was not on and it was early morning..Please excuse background as I am trying out a new light box and after fighting with it in the kitchen at about five in the morning on Thursday when I finished the card I just took the pics and used them ..Was like and octopus and I was trying so hard to be quiet then I woke my dog who started lol..the joy of living in a flat ..Thank you for popping by :)xx

My Besties Uk Same but Different

This times Same but different I have only used a portion of her I have shortened her skirt ..You do not have to use the digi the way it comes,sometimes it fits better into your vision if you forshorten it as it did this time...I have coloured her using Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card .. I have then mounted her onto black then white then black card to create a nice frame around her the rest of the papers are also mounted onto black card,these are from a First Editions paper pad called Floral Pavilion.. I have used a Crafter's Companion Downton Abbey (First collection ) edging die cut in black down the edge of the red polka dot paper and added beautiful red pearlescant Resin Roses to the centers of each of the pretty hoops.To finish I added a tag with the recipients name on one side and her special birthday on the other, I just need to add the verse and take it to my friend who ordered it from me ..Once more I apologise I am trying out a new photo booth and I did it at five in the morning and I just took the pictures and got them ready..I am sure if you had worked all night and fought with this monster ,you would have done the same ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

613 Avenue Create ..Sammi Stamps

Hiya ,todays card is created using a fab stamp from Sammi Stamps..I have used this one as I like the fun element of the whole picture..The background is not a part of the stamp it is my own creation,so will not come with the image.. I have coloured the cute stamp with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..The background I have created the grass with pencils but the sky with chalks to keep it soft.. I have used Pitt pens to from the image before mounting onto black card..all the papers are from Tonic Paper pad called Simply Patterns ,these just work perfect with this card and also were all mounted onto black card too.The Feathers are from a Hot of the Press Die,These I have coloured in SN Sparkle pens and look really pretty and match the colours of some of the birds ..I had this die free with a magazine ages ago and is the first time I remembered I had it lol!..Must sort my dies out one day or so lol!..,To finish I added a hand written sentiment..Thank you for popping by :) xx

Sasayaki Glitter CAS Card

Hiya ,Todays card I have done several things completely different..Firstly it is a Clean and Simple card CAS ,and secondly this is the first time I have tried Watercolour Pencils to colour the image..I used Caran D'Ache Prismalo 2 watercolour Pencils onto Neenah card..Not really advisable as if you get it too wet it baubles ,but I used a water brush and kitchen towel to keep it quite dry.I love the effect but I do know I need practice with these but also use a different card that will take the water much better.I did however touch her face up very slightly around the edges with my regular Polychromos,not a lot ,but it did not have the umph I wanted..But I do think that the Watercolour pencils are a good addition to your craft kit..I did not do a background however due to the type of paper I used ,,I knew it would not take it.
 The image was cut out using a Tattered Lace basic Pinpoint scalloped circle die.I then cut a frame in Pink Centura Pearl to frame the image ,this complimented the pink I used in the dress and accessories throughout the image..The card itself I ran through the Ebosser with a Crafter's Companion Embossing folder with pretty buterflies on it ,this was to put texture into what would be a blank boring card..and gives it a bit of interest ..I went arounD the edge of this with the same colour pencil I have used in the topper ,this helps to knit it all together.Finally I added the frame to the image and used 3D glue Gell to add to the card..I created a label on the pc and cut the end into a fish tail mounted it onto the same pink card used for the frame ,bent it slightly and added with the 3D glue.
It is hard doing a card like this when your used to doing pretty layered card..I have a lot of respect for those who do this on a regular basis ..Thank You for popping by :)xx

Digital Delights by Louby Lou.. Diving Peggy legz

Hiya ,today's card for Digital Delights by Louby Lou is Diving Peggy Legz, Such a fun little girl suitable for any up and coming Olympian Super star.. I printed her onto Neenah card and coloured her with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils.. these are my favourites as I find I can get such beautiful results from them and I can do things with pencils that pens cannot do .. I used black card for matting on the image and also for the backing papers too..These were from my G.C.D studio Melody Ross Designer Paper pad...Before I placed the topper onto the card with 3D glue gel I did a squiggle line around the image it seemed to tie it in with the theme a little more and match with the waves I popped into the water . I then placed it into position added some pre-made shop brought flowers that brought all the colours from the image out into the card ,then to finished the matching tag was added ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

My Besties UK ..Anythig goes with option of Summer

Hiya..Todays card is a real sweet one ,this looks so unlike the normal Bestie images,but I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her ,so here she is for the Summer themed challenge..I have coloured her in using Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I then cut the image out using the Tattered Lace torn rdge oval which I then mounted onto black card and fussy cut around it ,due to the fact I had to use the largest die to cut the image out ,but it works lovely.The background papers are all mounted onto black card also..The main one is from a digital kit I have as I did not have any orange paper and I could change the colour..The other two papers are off cuts from my scrap box,they were just big enough and the colours fit with the card beautifully. The flowers are from Crafter's Companion Signature collection from the English Country Garden Range..Just the right amount of decoration,these I cut from card and I hand coloured with SN pens then went over them with the SN Sparkle pens to make them pretty,it does not show on the pics ,sorry,..I then once dried shaped them..Glued the topper in place with 3D gel glue and added the flowers with the same glue ,this helped where the difference in the layers in the backgrounds are and made them grip better..Thank you for visiting :)xx
