Guest Designer Card for Unicorn Challenge Blog

Hiya ..Todays card is another Guest Desiner card.. I have chosen this beautiful image as it is for the theme of glamarous ,and I thought this was just the ticket..I have coloured her using my new pencils I had for Christmas..Prismacolors by Sanford..I need a bit more time to get used to these but for the first go I am very impressed..I think they are a little easier to use than my Polly's ,but not quite as good ,but that ithought may change yet with more use of course lol..I used Neenah card to print her out onto ,I love this as the pencils always lay down beautifully on this and it withstands the stumpie and the fluid work too..The Beige backgrounds are from a free cd I got from Crafter's Companion last year Crafter's Compedium..very handy as its got some pretty papers on and they are in loads of different colours too..The blue one is an odd one from my stash so sorry dont know as was last of..All backgrounds were mounted onto black card to make them pop.. The Embellishments ,lace .scent bottle and bow are from Crafter's Companion ..Downton Abbey Range..They just go beautifully with this and add a touch more glamour..To Finish I added gold and black gems..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Anything goes /circles My Besties UK DT Card

I had such fun making this one up..The theme was circles so circles it is lol..I coloured the lovely image in with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card..The papers I have used are Papermania Happy Birthday to You ..They are so pretty colours and I thought they just suited this card so well ..and of course the large dots on the papers convinced me even more lol..I first drew around the inside of the die to be able to cut around the girls bow and the bunny etc..then I cut out a load of circles in craft card using the Tonic Basic scalloped circles,I then hand drew and cut around the inside of the relevant circles in the various coloured dot papers,then the fussy cutting began as there was no other way as I could not put my hands on my plain circle dies grrr!..But I think it was worth it..Once all circles were glued in place I arranged them on the card but felt it needed more and then added an extra green square ,this seemed to unite the card together ..It is hard sometimes ,you see it in your head ,and on the paper its not quite right ..but this simple square corrected that ..whereas years ago I would have probably thrown it away because it was not working ,now I try something else.I try to explain my workings as not every one who visits is an expert I am not ,but I have learnt by trial and error ..never give up .To finish and decorate I added some odd buttons I thought it was a nice change from flowers and goes with the card theme and image so nicely too ..Thank you for visiting :)

Guest Designer for My Besties Aussie

I was tickled pink to be asked to be Guest Designer at My Besties Aussie..I have chosen this beautiful mermais,she is coloured using Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I used the New Tattered Lace Hexagonal Dies to cut and mat the card, First time using thes too ,love them .I used Pink and blue Centura Pearl card from CC..For the image as I wanted to use her as the main feature I hand drew around the die and fussy cut around it so I was able to have some of the headress above the shape and the tail below , this helps to give depth..All the layers have been added using Collall Gel Glue to add depth and the flowers are from Sara's own collection also from Crafters companion and cut from the off cuts of the pink Centura Pearl,and finished with tiny crystals to add a bit of sparkle..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Lucky Wishes Fae ..613 Avenue Create DT Card

The beautiful image for this weeks cared is from A Day for Daisies,, I love her work ,its fairly simple but always has a great impact when coloured..She has been coloured using Polychromos pencils on Neenah card..The backing papers are from my Do Crafts Digital ..Papermanioa Birdsong for the bright pink background and the female Wellington for the other two..All card is mounted onto Craft card and glued to the card ..The flowers are Tattered Lave Ava flower ..I have hand coloured these with SN pens to co ordinate with the card..very time consuming ,but they give the card a lovely light feel which suits the image perfectly..Thanks for visiting :)xx

Special friend Card.. Faeryink Stamps

Hiya I made this card for a very special friend..She is coloured using Polychromos pencils onto Neenah card..I have just l looked therough the shop and it was not on there tonight ,but it was the other night,there seem to be some missing ,so maybe there is being a sort out..She may have been discontinued as I have had her for about a year and just not had time to colour her ,or the confidence either .Her name is Gabbie Flutterfae... The papers I have used are from a freebie from one of the magazines and I am sorry I cannot remember which ot the name of the pad as the cover seems to be missing ...But I have mounted them all onto craft card..The flowers are punched out of Cordinations card as are the leaves and I have also added pretty small pink faux pearls to the centers of them to bring the flow from the flowers in her hair through to the main card.. Same but Different ..Besties UK DT Card

Its the time for the same but different card once more..I have coloured her in with Polychromos onto Neenah card..I have used red mirror card to back all my papers which are from the Dovecrafts Krafty Christmas  paper pad.. The dies I have used are Mariane ,(the smaller of the two in the set ) Creatables and the others are either Britanic ,which I think or Joanne Sheen Signature..These two sets really complement each other..I did not use the larger Marianne die as I was using my Spellbinders Saphire die cutting machine and sadly it is too large to go thorough the space..But its an excellent addition to the craft room and I use it more than any other machine..Great for the smaller dies like flowers and small borders ,leaves and sentiments..I love mine ..Thank you for visiting and Happy Christmas to you and your loved ones ,hope you make some special memories xx

Sparkly Christmas ..Glitter n Sparkle DT card

This is my last card for Glitter n Sparkle as I am leaving the team ,its just a bit too much work doing a card a week for me with all my other obligations too..This is a lovely image from Cute as a Button ..I have coloured her using my Polychromos pencils on Neenah card..I have used an 8x8 card base and have mounted my papers onto craft card..The papers I have used are Dovecrafts Krafty Christmas..The center panel I have sprayed with Spray and glitter from Crafters companion and the stars I have covered in glue and glittered myself..They look a bit like the sugar plumb lollypops we used to get as kids..many won't remember them ,but recycled teenagers like me will..We had some great sweets in our days lol..I have glues all the staes and the Topper down with 3D Gel as with the glitter on and being loose it will hold much more securely....Thank you for visiting and I wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas full of Joy and warm Memories :)xx
