A Home for Christmas... Julia Spiri DT card

With this card this week we had to create a Dolls house,house for Julia's work so this is what I have come up with for this one..The Images are coloured on Neenah card with Polychromos Pencils and tthe background I have hand drawn onto Bristol Board ans also coloured with Polychromos Pencils too..Was supposed to be a Mushroom ,but realised when proportioning it onto the card and using te images it was not really possible to get it into perspective or make it believable .so it has turned out with flatter roof  than I had planned The background I have used chalks to colour in the sky ..I then mounted it onto first craft card ,then black card to stiffen it .Then I added a normal 5x7 card to the back as a stand and some  red ribbon,and a bit of red and gold ribbon to finish and topped with a white rose..Thank you for visiting :)xx

The Gift ..Besties uk Dt card Anything Goes and Christmas

As soon as I saw this digi I fell in love with her ,so she is my pick this time.. She is coloured in Polychromos as usual on Neenah card.. All papers are mounted onto craft card and I have actually used papers from My Tonic Paper pad as I have misplaced my Christmas pad I wanted to use and need to get more paper so could not even print out ..Hard at 1.30 am on Monday morning lol,my cat suit does not fit any more lol..for the slightly older teenagers like my self you will know what that means ..(what bank robbers would usein the olden days  with a mask and stripey jumper)  lol..The papers are not Christmas but I actually think they work well so shhh!..The central panel is an off cut of plain paper just to bring the green through to the card..I faux stitched this to make a feature of this and once I stuck the topper in place with 3D glue gel I then added 3 snowflakes cut from a Tonic Punch to each side and popped blue pearls into the center to set them off..and to finish I added a small gold bow and popped another snowflake and pearl into the center..Its a bit quirky but was fun making and thats what crafting is all about ..Thanks for visiting :)xx

Candle Light ..Glitter n Sparkle DT Card

The image from The Stamping Boutique this week has been coloured in with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card..When I first received it I thought hmm! , as when you do some DT work you do what is chosen for you,this is one that i would not have chosen..But needless to say I did my magic on it and was amazed at how beautiful it has come out..It was one of those I put down and picked up and did a bit more on a few times but I am pleased with it..The beautiful material look backing paper is one I found printed out in my files from some time ago ,probably a CC paper ,as I keep what is not used just in case ..This went beautifully with the image and did not overcrowd it .The Ivy dies are from CC Diesire range and the flowers are from Sue Wilson's Christmas Poinsettia collection I had these a few years ago and I have cut these and all my gold card in a linen effect mat gold,just a nice glowing gold..I used glitter ribbon on a section of the gold card and placed it central across the card,then added Topper with 3D glue gel..The right hand corner is going to have a personalized tag on so it has been Photographed without ,so use your imagination lol..I do not add personalized tags unless its for my family and they have received then . You understand ..To finish I have added purple gems with snowflakes in to pull the purple out of the one bauble ,but as the light changes they do show gold and red too ..Thank you for visiting xx

Girls Happy Birthday.. Glitter n Sparkle DT card

Hiya ,this is one of those digis with such a lot going on in it that I felt it needed a fairly simple but pretty background for it.. I have coloured it with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card.The Backing Paper is from one of my Tonic pads ,well worth buying lots of beautiful papers and a lovely weight too...I mounted everything onto Craft card and for the front I crossed a yellow with a blue spot ribbon and a blue with a white spot ribbon and made matcking bows and added then one on top of the other ,to finish I added a lovely silk flower and a yellowy gold pearl ,also added them as you can see in the picks..this brought the yellow from the topper into the backing paper and balanced it..Thank you for popping by xx

Love at Christmas ..613 Avenue Create DT card

This is such a fun digi to colour..I love the Bugaboo stamps then are so nice when coloured..please note though the background is mine not on the original digi. I have coloured  them on Neenah card using Polychromos Pencils,then mounted them onto Craft card..The background papers are Dovecrafts Krafty Christmas and also matted onto craft card..I then did my squiggly and dot around the background to add a bit more detail..I then added the topper with 3D glue Gell.. For the decorations I kept them reasonably simple as this is for my friends Husband and I shall pop the tag on after on the bottom left. As I personalise I thought best to leave it off...The Snowflakes are from CC Diesire classic Christmas and the others are from Mariane Designs..To finish I added some lovely gems I got from Ebay that have snowflakes in them..just because its for a man it does not mean it has to be boring lol..Thank you for popping by xx

Ragamuffin Girl ..Morgan's Artworld DT Inspiration

Hiya todays Saturday Inspiration card for my little spot on Morgan's Artworld,is using the lovely Ragamuffin Girl..I have kept the colours tonal as the challenge is for Monochromatic ,but I have a little lee way.The Papers are from my Paper mania Capsule on my Docrafts Designer..I have used these as I can change the colours to suit the card .all are mounted onto craft card The image has been coloured using Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,and the card blank and back of the heart are made from Centura Pearl with a hint of gold...The Dies used ,the hearts are Essentials Tattered Lace diesand the flower is the Mia Flovwer die.. Princess door hanger ..Project for Julia Spiri Stamos DT

Thisproject was so far out of my box..I rarely do anything but cards as I have manual dexterity and doing fiddly things is very difficult for me now..But I have to say I do really love this little creation and enjoyed making it ..The Door handle is a Chipboard blank I purchased from Every Craft a Pound,but I think it was two for a Pound something like that .. They are real value for money,and nice and thick. The pretty little girl is coloured in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,and then for this piece fussy cut out...I stuck the papers directly onto the shape ,but I drew around the top and the bottom edge first and decided the amount I wanted to use on each piece as I used an 8x8 Tonic Paper pad and it would not cover in one so had to do it in sections..One sorted I glued the three pieces down and put faux stitxhing around it ,then did the same with the small heart for the bottom. I then used worn lipstick to go around the work..not too gad at this hence don't do it often lol....When this was done then I added some pretty spotted pink ribbon to attatch the heart to the door hanger,put some across the seams of paper and added the bows.. I then added the little girl using 3D glue gel..To finish I added a sentiment and small punched flowers with tiny crystals in the center to decorate..Thank you for visiting xx
