Glitter n Sparkle weekly Challenge

I love this image I have done for this challenge ..It is one I did for one of my very first Challenges in the days before I blogged and had time for other things lol.. She is a beautiful East Winds Stamp called  Aurora Floral Kiss ,beautiful huh!.. I coloured her on Neenah card using Polychromos pencils I then mounted her onto craft card to keep it more natural..I used an 8x8 card blank and papers from a craft pad I got from the Lidl Supermarket last year ..They work perfect with this image keeping it pretty and light ,but has encapsulated glitter ,so giving it a bit of a sparkle too. I mounted this onto craft card and added to card blank. Then I also added a section of embossed card I had done ages ago ,Phew! saved getting the machine out lol!..I kept this plain White as I wanted the card to look nice and fresh. I then added to craft card and mounted to card.The Topper was then added with 3D glue gell and I really wanted to leave it like this but decided to go on but to embellish with very pale blue So I cut out a Joanne sheen banner in Centura Pearl and coloured it with my pens ,gives it a lovely shimmer even under the pens , The butterfly is i believe a Marianne die and I cut a white blank for the background to help hold its shape and bent it all ..the gold in the Centura Pearl glimmers through the wings very pretty I added With Love down the one edge and tiny crystal gems to finish..  I Use white daylight light for the pictures and they look lovely ,but the cards always look much nicer in Real Time..Thank You for visiting ,It does mean a lot to me :)xx

Paperdolls Wedding card

Hiya ..Todays card is for a Guest Designer post over at a friends blog..I coloured the beautiful image on Neenah card and using Polychromos pencils ..I then mounted it onto craft card..Its my new gold ,it goes with everything and just looks so nice too .The papers are from a Hobby Crafts own pad which is called The Spring Time Collection ..Sadly now falling to pieces and nearly gone ,such a good pad too .These were mounted onto the craft card too..I then tor a few scraps left from a previous project and stuck these down across the page,to break the red colour up. .I then added the Topper with 3D glue gel and got my new toy out ..You must get one ..the little Spellbinders Saphire ..I would be lost without it ..Now I cut all my flowers with it  as I craft into the early hrs its quiet and easy to use as its so small..So I cut the flowers using Centura pearl and then coloured them with Gilding past ..another cool product , I think that they have made the card look rich and added a bit of fun too ...These I popped together with my 3D glue gel and added my new super shinny new gems to the centers..My ebay buys costs peanuts lol..Thanks for visiting and I hope you like my card :)xx

My Besties UK ..Same but Different

Hiya its half way through the challenge and its time for the same but different inspiration card .. This on is such a cutie too..She is coloured using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card,then I mounted her onto black card. The base card which was a 7x7 blank had all four corners trimmed off ,but I decided I wanted to trim the bits off level under and above the Topper..I then cut some paper from a pevious project I believe it was one of the Crafter's Companion ones,but without going through all the cd's I can not tell you which one ..I then mounted this onto black card and added to the card ..Glued on the topper with 3D glue gell ,and arranged flowers on each corner .I then added the sentiment to finish ..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Glitter and Sparkle DT card ..Stepper Card

Today's card is a first for me I have had my TL stepper Dies for ages and just not had the courage to use them..part of it being not too sure on the decorating bit of it..so here is my first attempt lol!..See we all learn as we go along . I used the beautiful image from East Winds and coloured her in with coloured Pencils, then mounted her onto Bright pink pearl card.I used Centura Pearl with a hint of gold for the main card,because its a good substantial card.. The paper is from the Crafter's Companion Kimono CD mounted once more on the bright pink Pearl card. The branches are the Blossom branches from the same Kimono Range too ..Very useful little die too and pretty little flowers with it too..Hence forth I went a bit crazy ,but I really like it and think it really sets the stamp of beautifully too..Thank you for visiting ,but don't sit too long or I may stick branches and Blossoms on you lol! :)xx

Glitter n Sparkle Weekly Challenge.. Add Flowers

Here is this weeks DT card for the new challenge ..I have chosen a beautiful Spelbinding stamps..I have coloured her in using Polychromos onto Neenah card and Chalked the background..then mounted onto black card..The main background is from old stash and also mounted onto black .but the othe two mat papers are from one of my Digi paper kits and the Sentiment and the insert also done on the same program my fave for things like verses and when your stuck for some things as I have most kits on there ..Do crafts Digital..But I only now use it as a reference or if I have to design birthday invited like letters lol..the lazy way the kids like now lol...Any ways I digress..The papers are all on black card..I used a 8x8 card blank and glued all down, popped in the insert..then added topper with 3D glue gel and cut the flowers using one of Tattered Lace Trio dies I just love these and have the whole set.I then cut some of the leaves from a Sue Wilson Die and arranged as shown..I shaped and assed the banner type sentiment using 3D glue gel too as a finishing touch ..Thank You for visiting

613 Avenue Create Challenge ..Black and white with favourite colour

This challenge ..wow did I pull my hair out..So outside my comfort Zone on this one..but I can do it I kept telling my self lol ! Why choose a bear lol ! ..Well this lovely little bear is coloured in using SN pens and Polichromos Pencils on Neenah card.. Yep! Pens you saw right .. I thought it would be Quicker..Nope took longer serves me right....I have used an 8x8 card blank and Do crafts Digital Papermania Happy Birthday to You Papers in greys,all matted onto black card.I glued all the pieces down and the insert into the card ,Mounted the image onto Black card and added to card with 3D glue gel..I then cut a flower using a Tattered Lace Trio flower and popped a cleat gem in the center..Made a bow from glittered Ribbon attached with 3D gel glue and then popped the flower on the top ..this is a nice altenative to using leaves ..added a few black gems and sentiment to finish ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Remembering Summer

I fell in love with this adorable stamp ,its by a new artist on Etsy I have not seen before ,and she has just gone onto FB too ..I coloured her using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card and mounted her onto craft card..The backing papers were a free gift with a magazine ages ago and are Lili of the Valley Nitwit Collection ..Perfect Pairs...All these were also mounted onto craft card..I also used ribbon to decorate with and a 8x8 card blank too .It is a simple design so easy to replicate if you wish..Thanks for visiting:)xx

My Besties UK Challenge ,Long Hair

Todays lovely Bestie is not so much a card as a stand alone picture..The image is coloured with Polychromos pencils on Neenah card..I used Nitwit Paper backgrounds from Lili of the Valley which was a magazine freebie some while ago a..The actual picture is made using three cuts in Craft card of the Tonic Die the shape of the front one ..Sorry I throw packaging away to store..I pit the paper layers on then I joined them together slightly angled,then glued the front one in place with the topper on ..I used a Tattered Lace doily Die for either side of the picture ..I cut one in half,then I added a Pink bow to one side and two silver butterflies also from tonic that came with a set several years ago..I then placed a small stand onto the back..Thank you for visiting :)xx

GlitternSparkle New Challenge DT Card

My first card for GlitternSparkle Design Team..So thrilled to have been picked..This adorable cheeky chap is coloured using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah Card..The background behind him and in front of him is my own artwork.It has been mounted onto Black card and Craft card to set it off..I did the same with the beautiful backing paperw which are from my Docrafts Digital Woodland Friends  as are the sentiments and the insert and the cute owl on the top too..It is a really fun card which I thoroughly enjoyed making ..I hope you like it too ..Thanks for visiting :)xx

Flutterbye Fairy..Scrappers Delights

Todays card I have used the lovely Flutterby Fairy from Scrappers Delights.. I have coloured her in using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card and mounted her on Holographic card from a few years back..last of it phew ..The papers are from First Edition. "Up Up And Away" and also mounted onto the same card ..  The card is simple this week as I wanted the stamp to be the feature of the card ,but I have put on a lovely flower from Tattered Lace which is one of the trio ones ..It is four in the morning and sorry not sure which one lol.. so please forgive me..Thank you for visitine :)xx

Rick St Dennis Happy Birthday Milly

 This gorgeous little fairy is called Auriel GardenPatch Rick St Dennis has given this cheeky little thing such an appropriate name,my Granddaughter loved this card.. The image is coloured in using Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..She was then mounted onto craft card.. The colourful papers are once more from my DCWV  Fresh Floral Stack ,these were also mounted onto craft card.I stuck everything down on the 8x8 card blank using Allpurpose Collall Glue and the Topper down with the 3D glue by Collall..The flowers are from the Crafters CompanionPerfect Partners wild briar by Sheena..love this die ,looks different every time you use it ,the leaves are from Sue Wilson and I coloured them in with a green SN pen ,sorry I forgot number as I did this last week and could not post until after she received it of course..The insert is layered in the same paper with the verse on it..Thank you for taking the time to visit :)xx

Beautiful Morgan Fitszimmons Selkie and Seal

Todays card is done once more from the beautiful CD from Crafter's Companion Flights of Fantasy.. This is my most favourite CD to date,but that is because I am really into fantasy creatures anyway.All the papers and the image are painted from the cd..I mounted the papers onto craft card but the first layer and the top of the card I sprayed with Sparkle and Spray Gold as I wanted a bit of shimmer ,then mounted the other into craft card ,also the insert.Stuck all these down with Collall A;; Purpose Glue . The topper took me ages to colour as it was a lot of popping to one side and tweeking until I had what I envisaged , must have been in excess og 8 hrs,but was well worth it..She is coloured as usual in Pencils and I also mounted her onto Craft card,but added her to the card with Collall 3D glue gel..The leaves are a Sue Wilson die (was meant to represent seaweed lol well idea was there )  and the flowers are the wild rose from Sheena's perfect pairs from Crafter's Companion ,,love this die it is my go for die and looks different each time..The card base is 8x8 and this is definitely a show stopper on the shelf ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Same but Different at My Besties UK..Steampunk

What a fun card and I have so enjoy doing these same but different cards with the team each of us do something so very different so mine is just totally different for ME lol hence more fun ,so I hope you like it.. I coloured her in with Polychromos on Neenah card ,then mounted her onto Black card ..I used an 8x8 card base.  Using Crafters Companion Sheenas stamping card I embossed it with the clock embossing folder ,also CC.. I then coloured it to match the Topper and using Renaissance Gold Pebeo Gilding wax I highlighted the clock faces ,looks really great ,first time I have used this and love it ..I then Mounted it into Black card and stuck to card base with Collall All purpose glue.I then used Collall 3D gel glue and positioned the topper into position..I cut out two sets of branches in black from the dies in the Kimono Range Cherry Blossom and the Birdhouse in Black card ,then I cut the birdhouse in White with a hint of gold Centura Pearl,then two sets of flowers and glues all as shown,here and finally a sentiment cut in Centura Pearl from the new Only Words Diesire dies...There will be an insert in when it goes to the recipient ..Thank you for looking :)xx

613 Challenge theme add a Moon or Stars

I had so much fun with this Bugaboo Stamp this time .. I sat with her partially coloured for a bit as you do ,to think ..then this is what happened..She is coloured in Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card.I hand drew the forhround onto the topper and coloured to finish.. I then mounted all my DCWV papers and toppers onto Mauve Centura Pearl ..I took an 8x8 card folded one half in half and decorated with the papers..Then I added another layer of papers and Centura Pearl to my Topper ,then added it to the bottom section ..I die-cut a couple of small circles and a small flower and stuck to the backing card this is to hold the card..However I must say that fine if you want to try my dimensions but to be honest I found it a bit bulky and would keep slipping out of the stop..So I think perhaps a smaller version might be better ..It is my first attempt of one of these :)xx

Under the Sea..Scrappers Delights

Todays card was a complete bit of fun.. The image I had from Scrappers Delights was just the Mermaid , I coloured her in with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah cars..I had her on my shelf and wondered what to do with her as I had no embellishments to suit ..so I thought I would use my lesser known talent and draw the background and a few embellishments on too..It took about nine hours from start to finish but she is so adorable..I mounted her onto some Kanban card I brought years ago as it is silver and has many colours on it ..looks great on this type of card..I then embossed som of Sheena's stamping card and coloured with Tim Holtz ink pads and a duster brush..love these they do not hurt my fingers so great to build colour on top of each other too.,Mounted that behind the main picture then added more silver ..To finish I created a card to fit from Centura Pearl..the actual image dimensions..not of any use as each of us use digi stamps at different sizes..thanks for taking the time to look :)xx
