My Besties ..Black and White

I wondered what I was going to colour up for this challenge and decided to do this adoreable little witch..Witches are not just for Halloween some little girls and big girls have birthdays at Halloween too... The background papers are from my stash..this card was a great design to use up odd bits of paper from left over projects..I used an 8x8 card blank and matted the background paper onto black card ,then I cut up two small off cuts of another grey paper and also popped them onto black card ,the one piece I had printed Happy Birthday Wishes, this was already on there as it was originally done for another card and it was cut off in the end as I decided to put a different sentiment on it , so it did me a favour here . The background was placed onto the card and then the four squares as shown..I then did a zig zag type squiggly thing around them..You can of course by the technical terms tell that I am a designer of great talent and knowledge ..not ...lol.. I then placed the topper onto the black card and used 3D gllue gel to mount it to the front... To finish I tied a couple of bows and added to the one corner ,then added some super little embellishments to the opposite side and placed a sparkly gem in the middle of the bow..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Glitter n Sparkle weekly Challenge

I had a lot of fun with this lovely image ..I coloured her on Neenah card using Polychromos Pencils,then cut her out with a very small white edge around her.. The actual card is a 7x7..I used a backing paper from Crafters Companion Christmas Moonbeam Meadow..I then mounted it onto craft card ..I cut a piece using a Marianne design die for the background trees and glued it in place ,then I cut a winter village from CC Diesire range coloured windows and added a bit of colour to the buildings ,but just a hint of colour ,then glued in place ..then using an embossing folder from the vintage Christmas ,also CC.. I then set two layers in front to finish ,defined the edges with blue chalk ..Cut a snowman from the new Diesire range and coloured him up and glued together,then popped him behind one of the layers,this helped to keep it all in perspective.. I finally glittered it all and stitch to the main card after that I glued in the insert and added the little girl with 3D glue gel and added the gems to finish..thank you for visiting :) xx

613 Avenue Create create your own challenge

Well I have got to say I have waited for months to get hold of this die from Tattered Lave ..I originally wanted the Glitter Girls Book a Trix board..but to be honest I am glad I have this now..the mind is the only limit what you can do with this amazing card creator ..I found four co ordinating papers from my stash ..,great for using up part sheets too like I have here.. Then for the main body I have used Centura Pearl in a beautiful lilac..the top layer has been embossed with an Embosalicious folder from CC....I glued the seams and used 3D glue to give glue to give lift to the pages.. I coloured the beautiful A Day With Daisies stamp with Polychromos pencils on Neenah card and cut it out ..I added it to the project with 3D glue gel.the mushrooms are from Mariane Designs ,I coloured these with alcahol pens before gluing in place..the flowers are CC Flowers for All Occasions and I cut them from the same Centura Pearl as the outer leaf..I then shaped them,added the gems and placed them in position.. I then popped on the sentiment ..thank you for visiting :) xx

Julia Spiri Stamps DT card ..Something New

Well this is my first DT for this team ..Love her stamps and just had to be on the team or else would not have time to colour lol..She was coloured onto Neenah card with Polychromos Pencils...The backgrounds are from a first edition pad Up Up and Away..I chose the paper for the pretty encapsulated glitter in the paper ..All the paper has been first mounted onto black then mounted onto gold glitter card .,and placed onto the card..I then cut a Tonic border out of gold glitter card then added a strip of blue gingham card edged with black and placed across the card to add a bit of interest ..then yo add my new I used my new Sue Wilson Cornflower dies..but made them more like daisies by touching the edges with a pink pen ..I then added gold gems to finish them off two pretty hearts opposite and a sentiment ..Thanks for visiting :)xx

Nautical My Besties

There are only two of us doing this one as there is an extra week in this month..And as it was my choice and happens to be my Dads Bithday I chose this one ,because he was in the Royal Nave for 23 yrs and I put to Daddy's little girl on it..That was me lol..memories xx ..I coloured her in with polychromos pencils onto Neenah card.Please note though that the image you buy is only the Bestie and the little boat..The background is all my own art work.I used an 8x8 card and a couple of pieces of paper from my paper stash as a background,sorry cannot remember as they are seperate from a pad and no doubt years old,but were just right for this project.One was mounted on the craft card for the insert and the other for the front. The Topper was a large one so really did not need any extra embellishment as this took in the region of eight hours to colour and add art work too also ..I added this with 3D glue gell and then put a sentiment down the side .. This one is dedicated to my Dad ..Love you forever and a day xxx

Glitter n Sparkle Weekly Challenge ..Add Buttons

Todays card is a really cute Bunny from Bugaboo Stamps..Love these they always colour up so nicely..I coloured her in with Polychromos pencils on Neenah card and mounted her onto craft card....Then taking an 8x8 card blank I then cut the background of pink dots from my Papermania Birthdays cd. for both the insert and front and mounted them onto craft card ,then onto card blank. Then I cut a piece of paper with pretty flowers on from one of my other Papermania kits ,backed it with craft card and added wibbly wobbly lines around as a feature.This was then glued in place ..The pretty pink bird paper was cut to resemble a flap and also was mounted to craft card ,this I drew on faux stitching and added with 3D glue gell..I then added the topper with 3D glue and placed the sentiment where I wanted it and popped the button from my button box in place once I had tied a bit of orange spotty ribbon through it...The actual stamp is just the bunny and the clouds are my addition so you will not find the stamp on the same image ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Raise Your Glasses Girls its Selina's 21 st Again

This is a lovely fun image from Bugaboo Stamps..For this girls night themed challenge..I turned it into a bit of a fun card as I only had a single image..I have coloured her in with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card.. The background behind stamps my own artwork.. I then popped it first onto Black card then onto Craft card to set it off .. I used an 8x8 card and used papers from my First Editions Pad called Love Letters.. I used an 8x8 card blank and used craft card to mount my backing papers inside and out..The Front I used two papers the top one I turned and stuck down ,then trimmed to fit the other piece..this added more interest and also a bit of sparkle as it has small flowers on with encapsulated flowers on it..I then added it to the craft card ,then onto the card. I used a strip of gems down the one edge and then finished with one of the Tattered Lave flowers from the trio sets ,then I cut some ivy leaves from another trio set ,drew some branches and added then to the card..Finally I added the pearl to the center and the Sentiment ...Thank you for visiting :)xx
