Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Reminder

Hiya..for this card I coloured the image in with my Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card,I then fussy cut around it leaving a small white line to help it pop off the card..I have used black card for matting this one ..The background paper is from a tonic pad called Folksy Florals and the beautifully foil embossed craft card is from Kanban I purchased from C&C last year..You can see how nice it is on the center picture..After gluing the backing papers onto the card base I then added the gold panel with 3D glue to give a bit of depth,Then I added a small black piece of card I did a wiggle line around with the 3D glue to lift that up and finally added the mouse with the same glue,it helps to give the card  depth and a bit of movement..I kept it simple by adding a few black gens to opposite corners ..This can then be given to a boy or girl even though the bike and hat is blue it is a nice neutral card..and I think the cool mouse would be fun for either..Thank you for popping by :)xx

New Release at Sasayaki Glitter

I have coloured this super cute Turtle Couple with my Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,Then I mounted it onto Craft card as I did the lovely papers ,these are from a pad I got from C&C a while ago as their members freebie , it's by THE PAPER BOUTIQUE and is called Rasberry Ripple..lovely 8x8 papers in ice cream colours yummy lol! ..I used some flower dies from China and hand coloured them leaving the center one white for contrast, added them to the card with 3D glue,I then added the last few white flowers and a few faux pearl gems to the one side and to the one corner..To finish I added a computer generated sentiment to the bottom right , bending it gently in my fingers to give it a bit of movement and glued with 3D glue gel..I kept the sentiment open so it could be for a variety of occasions ...
Thank you for taking the time to pop by :)

WWODT August Challenge

This is by far one of my favourite cards in a while..I have coloured the beautiful image by Julia Spiri in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I then coloured the background with pastel chalks as I did not want it to over take the image..I used pencil just to define it..It was then mounted onto some Pink Hunkydory Card..as was the lovely papers..I chose these ones as the image looked perfect on them..I rather than making flowers decided to decoupage the lovely flowers on the papers and add them on with 3D glue to make them pop up off the page and to add some depth..I do love playing with papers this way ,on this particular case the paper and the image marry together perfectly..The paper pad I used was Hunkydory Florabunda, and it has some extremely beautiful papers in there and they are also double sided too ,so great value for money..I would have used glitter but my my glue pen has died, but after looking at it today in the daylight I am pleased I did not ..not keen on glitter except at Christmas of course ,but that goes with out saying as its all glitter then he! he! he!..

Sketch Saturday ..Mmendel Illustrations

Hiya..Been busy this week I know ,but last one hehe ..I coloured this really pretty mermaid with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card ..I then cut her out using Tattered Lace Basic Ovals and did a pink mat to pop her on using card from Hunkydory..I used this also for the papers too ..These were also from Hunkydory from their Delightful Deco pad.. These are silky papers that add a nice shimmer to them, not my favorites because they are a little thin for my liking but they do look nice on the card..
For the shape on the side I folded a piece of card in half and carefully cut the shape out allowing for the depth of the oval and and just a bit more, then I fussy cut it out, then transfered it to the paper I was using..,this saved making mistakes on the best paper..Then I glued it onto the mat and fussy cut that out too ,not perfect but it is something very different .. The flowers are from CC English country Garden range ,I used the smaller flower on this card..The design merited two but I felt it looked odd so I added three,to finish I added a computer generated sentiment and some pretty resin roses to the center of the flowers..
Thank you for taking the time to pop by :)xx

All The Colours of the Rainbow Challenge at Sasayaki Glitter

Hiya..Quite a simple fun 6x6 card for the start og the new challenge..The image has been coloured with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,I did the background sky with pastel chalks to keep it soft and natural..Dont forget to spray with fixative if you use these..I use an old trick taugt me at school by my lovely art teacher, use Hairspray..I just use an own brand one not a fancy one..I have tried to add all the colours of the rainbow as accurate as I can with the colours I have to the main picture..but I had no paper that has so many colours in so had to go for the lovely shimmering Do crafts Painted blooms pad for the ones I have used..The card is Hunkydory Adorable Scorable..I doodled across the center strip of green card and added all sorts of size and coloured buttons to finish..It has made a fun card suitable for a boy or a girl..Thank you for popping by :) xx

New Release Day at Sasayaki Glitter

It is nice to do a baby card for a change ..he is super cute too isn't he with his little monkey ..I have coloured him and his blanket (which is my addition and not with the stamp)..with my Polychromos onto Neenah card and done the background with pastel chalks....I have used Tattered Lace Desert Rose Doily Nested dies for the cutting out of the finished image and the backing card..I have used these on a slant as it seemed to take the image better this way..The card I mounted the papers and the image on is from Hunkydory.. The papers are from a First Editions Neroli paper pad..The one paper which was double sided I quartered and mixed the two patterns to give more interest ,and then I did a bit of faux stitching around then to help them pop a bit more..The cute buttons and baby die cuts are from my fast growing collection from China ..
Thank you for popping by :) xx

Sketch Saturday New Challenge

Hiya..Well this is my first Christmas Card for this year..I have used fab images from Digi Stamp Boutique, well worth having a visit and having a look, the little cuties I have used were part of a set of four and they were under £1.50 so could not complain ..I have coloured them in with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card..Then cut them and mounted them onto silver iridescent card.I have uses Tonic's thick glitter like a sparkling glue in a triangle bottle to put a bit of sparkle where the snow would be and in the center of the flowers as if they have had snow balls thrown at them, thats my story and sticking to it  lol!,it still moves although thick and mistakes happen is all I will say ..not used it since last year ..The papers I have used are from Polkadoodles Winnie Winter Wonderland..I have to hunt my papers out from last year ,they are in a box in the bedroom I hope.So I used these instead as easily reached ..These were also mounted onto the same card ,as was the computer generated sentiment for the middle of the card..The flowers were cut from some red mirri card and the leaves from the left over card from the mounting sheets..These were all cut from a set of dies from China..There is one other larger leaf and flower ,but i only used the smaller ones for this card as I thought with the images being so small it would over whelm them if the blooms ere too big..
Thank You for popping by :)xx
