Adult Coloring Book - Whimsical Dreams: Color up a Fantasy, Magic Characters. All ages. 50 Different Images printed on single-sided pages Paperback.

by Julia Spiri (Author)

From the Author: In this coloring book you will find lots of unique, whimsical characters from a gentle world of fantasy. There are 50 different images to color. Creating a character is a long creative process. Once an idea has formed in my mind I begin sketching, until I have a clear image that I am happy with and want to paint. Once this is complete I finish the final drawing with clean lines, sometimes using traditional pencil, and sometimes digital pencil. Creating so many characters for this book was a long process, but so much fun. I hope you enjoy coloring it as much as I enjoyed creating it. 50 Different Images printed on single-sided pages

And a few card sing the images included in the book too

Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Reminder

Hiya .There is still time to enter the challenge on our blog ,here is my reminder card..I have coloured her in using Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card, and I coloured the sky with Chalk Pastels..I then glued it onto craft card as I have my other papers..I have used papers from a pad by DCWV called Floral Stack..Thank you to the nice lady on FB who knows its name as I cannot find the front cover and part of the stack,it  has a lot of pretty  papers in it   ..but a bit thin for my liking... The flowers are cut from dies from China,For the flowers I used some pretty Lilli of the Valley Paper that was free in a magazine ages ago, found this not the other piece of my paper pad lol! ,the leaves were just cut in white card and coloured with a SN pen..To finish I added some pretty faux pearls to the centers to add a little shimmer ..
Thank you for visiting :)xx

World Wide Open Design Team Challenge DT Card

Hiya..This has been a really fun ,but time consuming card as the cutting out colouring and sticking was so none ending lol!..but I think worth it ..it has come out as a really fun card..I have coloured the image in using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah paper..I cut the image out using a Tonic Die..I am sorry I cannot remember the name as it is stored on a magnetic sheet and I have had it a long time,But it consists of a larger center die,the outer die and a cut out the edge die ..I used the two latter ones..I think it was something brambles perhaps..Any way I backed it with green card to make it stand out and used the same green card for the layering of the papers too.The papers are from First Editions Love Letters and I felt complemented the image perfectly and added a little sparkle too with the encapsulated glitter. The Mushrooms at the front I believe are Joy Crafts..The two taller ones at the back are from Marianne designs and the foxgloves are Tattered Lace die,The leaves are from china ..all hand coloured using SN pens All these were glued on using 3d glue gel to get a little depth ..
Thank you for visiting  :) xx

Sasayaki Glitter ..New Release Day

Hiya..This is a super cute image and its also this months Freebie..I coloured her in on Neenah with my Polychromos pencils and used pastel chalks for the background. The backing papers are some I brought from Liddle a few years back and sadly the last two of this set..They are encapsulated with glitter and are just beautiful..I cut the topper out with Tattered Lace Basic circles and cut an orange frame using some Topsy Turvey card from C&C  ..I also used it to layer the background paper on too ,this was raised by using 3D glue gel and placed around the image.using the same TL dies. The Paper was so pretty and worked perfectly with this image so all I did was cut out some of the shells and added them to the frame so it looks like the paper is coming up and over the frame..Simple but anything else I think would have spoilt it ..
Thank you for popping by :)xx

Sketch Saturday with Bugaboo Stamp

I have loved making this card ,I just love Bugaboo stamps, they are so nice to colour and they look stunning when they are finished...I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card and then mounted her onto craft card..I have kept the background just backing paper which is unusual for me ,but I really think it set's the image off beautifully..The paper I used was from g.c.d Studios and is called CLOISONNE' .. For the flowers I have used a couple of cheap punches from Hobbycraft but there is nothing cheap looking about the pretty daisy like flowers I have created from them ,or the pretty leaves that are punched and embossed at the same time..To finish I added some multi faceted pink gems to the center of the daisies for that added bit of sparkle.
Thank you for popping by :) xx

Morgans Artworld May Release

This  is my last card for Morgans Artworld ,,I have loved being on the team but I feel it is time to move on now ..For this lovely image ,I coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card ,then used pastel chalks for the background..The papers I chose are from g.c.d studios and is the Melody Ross designer collection ..I chose the yellow mock flock for the base paper and a pretty ditsy one I cut into four pieces ,all my matting has been done onto craft card.I used dies from China to cut the flowers and they are a little like Sunflowers, but rather than an orange I decided to pick the purple out of the paper to give a complete contrast and I hand coloured them with SN water colour pens as the give a bit of a wishy washy effect as you get on flowers,The leaves are also hand coloured from a die from ChinaTo finish I added some pretty gems to the opposite side to the flowers to balance the card

Sasayaki Glitter May Challenge Card

Hiya..I coloured this little image in with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card.Once done I added a light background by drawing faint lines of bamboo and lightly shading them with green..I then finished off with pink and green pastel chalks ,I did not want the background to leap out as the image was the main feature ,but as soon as I say her I just knew she needed some bamboo lol!..I mounted her onto some pink Kanban card and put to one side until I finished the background card..
For the chard I used a cream blank ,I used the same pink card for matting my layers as the image..The Papers are from First Edition Love Letters .The back one being encapsulated with glitter and the other having tiny dots on it too..very pretty..Once the layers were all glued down I them mounted the topper on with 3D glue Gel ..The flower was cut from a die set from China and I chose it as it is the closest to a chrysanthium I could find as they are featured a lot in Chinese artwork..This and the leaves were coloured with SN pens so that it matched perfectly with the colour theme..I added them with the same glue I find flowers sit nicer with the 3D glue as it gives the gap between the layers as real flowers have and it makes them a little more natural,,I added the folded and shaped leaves and to finish I Popped a large pretty green gem in the center of the flower and a few on the side of the topper.
Thank you for popping by :)xx
