Sasayaki Glitter CAS Card

Hiya ,Todays card I have done several things completely different..Firstly it is a Clean and Simple card CAS ,and secondly this is the first time I have tried Watercolour Pencils to colour the image..I used Caran D'Ache Prismalo 2 watercolour Pencils onto Neenah card..Not really advisable as if you get it too wet it baubles ,but I used a water brush and kitchen towel to keep it quite dry.I love the effect but I do know I need practice with these but also use a different card that will take the water much better.I did however touch her face up very slightly around the edges with my regular Polychromos, not a lot ,but it did not have the umph I wanted..But I do think that the Watercolour pencils are a good addition to your craft kit..I did not do a background however due to the type of paper I used ,,I knew it would not take it.
The image was cut out using a Tattered Lace basic Pinpoint scalloped circle die.I then cut a frame in Pink Centura Pearl to frame the image ,this complimented the pink I used in the dress and accessories throughout the image..The card itself I ran through the Ebosser with a Crafter's Companion Embossing folder with pretty buterflies on it ,this was to put texture into what would be a blank boring card..and gives it a bit of interest ..I went arounD the edge of this with the same colour pencil I have used in the topper ,this helps to knit it all together. Finally I added the frame to the image and used 3D glue Gell to add to the card..I created a label on the pc and cut the end into a fish tail mounted it onto the same pink card used for the frame ,bent it slightly and added with the 3D glue.
It is hard doing a card like this when your used to doing pretty layered card..I have a lot of respect for those who do this on a regular basis ..Thank You for popping by :)xx

Digital Delights by Louby Lou.. Diving Peggy legz

Hiya ,today's card for Digital Delights by Louby Lou is Diving Peggy Legz, Such a fun little girl suitable for any up and coming Olympian Super star.. I printed her onto Neenah card and coloured her with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils.. these are my favourites as I find I can get such beautiful results from them and I can do things with pencils that pens cannot do .. I used black card for matting on the image and also for the backing papers too..These were from my G.C.D studio Melody Ross Designer Paper pad...Before I placed the topper onto the card with 3D glue gel I did a squiggle line around the image it seemed to tie it in with the theme a little more and match with the waves I popped into the water . I then placed it into position added some pre-made shop brought flowers that brought all the colours from the image out into the card ,then to finished the matching tag was added ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

My Besties UK ..Anythig goes with option of Summer

Hiya..Todays card is a real sweet one ,this looks so unlike the normal Bestie images, but I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her ,so here she is for the Summer themed challenge..I have coloured her in using Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I then cut the image out using the Tattered Lace torn rdge oval which I then mounted onto black card and fussy cut around it ,due to the fact I had to use the largest die to cut the image out ,but it works lovely. The background papers are all mounted onto black card also..The main one is from a digital kit I have as I did not have any orange paper and I could change the colour..The other two papers are off cuts from my scrap box, they were just big enough and the colours fit with the card beautifully. The flowers are from Crafter's Companion Signature collection from the English Country Garden Range..Just the right amount of decoration, these I cut from card and I hand coloured with SN pens then went over them with the SN Sparkle pens to make them pretty,it does not show on the pics ,sorry,..I then once dried shaped them..Glued the topper in place with 3D gel glue and added the flowers with the same glue ,this helped where the difference in the layers in the backgrounds are and made them grip better..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Saturday Inspiration for Morgans Artworld

Hiya ,for todays inspiration card I have used a Digi Stamp from Morgan Fitszimmons Flights of Fantasy which is from Crafters Companion..I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,,I then backed the image with first black card, then white, then Centura Pearl Purple card..This helps to give the image more depth and to help it stand out more. The papers I have used are from a G>C>D studio pad called Melody Ross Designer Collection..This is a gorgeous pad,I had never seen them before buying this but I love this and it is just so versatile and I have used it on a lot of cards lately and they all look different..These I just mounted onto the Centura Pearl ,purple card.. The flowers I used are from Memory box dies and are called Lovely Asters ,these I have shaped and layered, popped pretty gems in the center ,then punched some leaves to go with it ..As it was five in the morning I just did not want to cut the leaves so punches some, much quicker..To finish I also added a few of the same gems to the opposite side to balance the card too..Thank you for visiting :)xx

New Release Sasayaki Glitter

Hiya ,Todays New release card for Sasayaki Glitter has been so much fun to do ,all the way through from the image to the card.. The image is coloured with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,I have used a Tonic die to cut the topper out with, and for the dark green baking card behind it too..The papers are from a G.C .D Studio pad called Melody Ross Design Collection ..The Blue was stuck once cut to size directly onto the dark green card and the green check i cut randomly freehand to represent waves then backed all ov then onto the dark green card..I was not sure it was going to work ,but I am really pleased with it ..the tiny flowers are cut from x-cut punches S,M,Lout of some yellow card,I shaped these then added down both sides of the topper, adding some pretty blue gems and some leaves also from a punch ..popped a couple of green gems on each opposite corner ..I have not added a tag yer as I am not sure what to use it for yet ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Gust Designer for My Besties Aussie

Hiya,Not only my Guest Designer card ,but first Christmas one for this year ..well its a start lol!.. I have coloured the pretty Christmas Mouse image with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I chalked the background to add a softness I cannot achieve with the pencils. The snowline and snowballs etc are all my own artwork and you will only get the image when you purchase her..I also did a wavy edge around the die cut edge to frame it too,The dies used to cut it out were the latest Tattered Lace Notched Squares, this was backed onto another die cut but this time in Silver card, this frames the whole image and allows it to pop..
As the image was so large I only used one backing sheet ,this is from First Editions Festive Treats, this was also backed onto Silver card too..The flowers are cut from the Tattered Lace Trio Poinsettia Dies using Centura Pearl card and I have hand coloured them with SN pens to go with the colours in the topper ,I added some Silver ivy leaves cut from a CC Diesire Ivy Die ,in this case the smaller one ..And to finish I added some pretty white iridescent gems to the flower centers and down the one edge too for decoration..Thank you for popping by :)xx

613 Avenue Create , Sitting Fairy

Hiya..I was absolutely thrilled this week to be doing this card..All the others had to use a pick this and that in a create your own challenge ,but I did not and an other couple of us either ,I picked this pretty Bugaboo image to colour..Love their stamps they look fabulous coloured and really pop off the card too..I have coloured her onto Neenah Card using Polychromos pencils..The background is done with chalks they give a lovely soft effect. The stamp does not have the stump she is sitting on that is my own work . I used a Tattered lace Basic pin dot Die to cut her out then mounted her onto craft card ,cut in the next size die..The fancy die cuts on either side are Spellbinder's Victorian Medallion 2,  I cut this in half diagonally and added to the back of the cardI cut to back the fairy as you can see,it extends the diecuts and adds a pretty finish too.The backing papers are from First Editions Floral Pavilion and these have also been mounted onto craft card. To finish I added the topper with 3D glue gel then added some pre- made blooms finishing with hand cut leaves, some resin roses and a computer generated sentiment..Thank you for popping by :)xx
