New Release ..Digital Delights by Louby Lou

Hiya,These lovely alphabet digital stamps from Digital Delights are a really cute way of doing a card for a child using the initial as a feature..alternatively ,you could use all of them and make up a very colourful book and use it as a learning visual aid to teach your little one the alphabet..I have loved doing the two I have been asked to do..
I have coloured mine with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,and I used Tonic Paper pads for the backing papers,both the image and the papers are all mounted onto craft card..Before I stuck the top pink layer down I applied some pretty cotton lace and some blue polka dot ribbon..I then used 3D glue gel to add the topper before adding the bow in the same ribbon ..To finish I added a mulberry paper flower from my stash and some pretty blue gems..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter New Release


Today is New release day at Sasayaki Glitter and I chose this pretty fun image as I thought it lovely for the summer ,Yes I know What! Summer ..Have a little faith the day will come lol! .. I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..The background is my addition and not on the original digital stamp ..I used craft card to mount all my papers and my image on ,these were all from the First Editions Neroli pad as they went beautifully with the colours I chose for the image .I could not get any proper craft bags from my local Hobycraft when I went up ,but got these from one of  those pound saver shops ..Great cheap way for doing little bags for kiddies parties ,you do not need to hand colour ,but you could easily do quicker decorated bags and would be a great way to send the cake etc home with them. I have kept the theme sort of garden the flowers another poundland purchase from last year I layered and added some pretty blue gems that change to green in different light ..This brings the blue from the clouds and the green from the grass out too.I added the butterfly and added 3D gel between the wings to hold then upright once dry,,To finish I added a couple of faux blue pearls and a pretty spotted bow ..Thank you for popping by xx

613 Avenue Create Dt Card.. Alison

Hiya time to blog again..Todays card I have used a new artist from Etsy,her stamps are SMS Digital Stamps.Her name is Sara  Sherlook , , she  has some really lovely stamps and I think she will  grow with her experience in the stamp world.. I love doing stamps for the new Artists ,it helps to get their work shown and hopefully let them know we love their work too ,so please pop along and have a look at her other stamps ..Today I have chosen her lovely image called Alison..I have coloured her with Polychromos pencils onto Neenah card..I chose the colour for her dress because I do I admit shop on Ebay and I saw this paper pad by GSD called Melody Ross Collections  (Lidia Collection) ....Well the picture was a bit fuzzy and I missed it the first time ,but I got it the second time Soo Glad I brought it lol ..Yes I used it on this ..Well half of me wanted to and the other half wanted to keep it as it is amazing..All double sided papers Wow! ..Gold on it too! ,Flocking!..Just keep watching as I will be using this a lot I can assure you ..
 I mounted all my papers onto craft card as usual..but before I did I used the new Tattered Lace torn edge squares ,cut four in craft card,four in the gorgeous paper then glued them into place and added to a 8x8 card base..I then cut a TL torn edge ovale for the background of the image and carefully cut the image out and matted onto the the center using 3D glue gel..The flowers are from CC Sara 's Signature Collection English Country Garden Range ,it is Lazy Daisy..The flowers and leaves were coloured with CC Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens to add the glitz..The Love word  is a TL Die and to finish I added a few gems..than you for visiting :)xxx

Blue Faery..Morgans Artworld Saturday Inspiration

Hiya ,todays card I have used one of the stamps from Morgan Fitzsimmons Flights of Fantasy from Crafter's Companion ,you can find it by clicking on the link of the cd's name below.I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card and have mounted her first onto craft card then onto Centura Pearl with a hint of Gold..The flowers are also made out of this too and I have coloured them with CC Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens to go with the colours in the main picture.The Papers are from a First Editions pad called Neroli,these were also mounted onto craft card before being glued to the main base card which is 8x8 inches.I have coloured the leaves with the sparkle pens too but I have cut these from the off cuts of the craft card,this actually picks the glitter in the pens up much better..They are a nice way to add a gentle glitter and sparkle to your cards without spoiling the colour or making them look like you have tipped sugar on your work.The flowers are the new Tonic flowers called Sunburst Gazania..To finish the card I have added two pretty hearts,the tag will go on when it goes to the recipient ,as the few ladies I have like the cards named..Thank you for popping by Happy Crafting till Next Time :)xx

Away with the Fairies ..Sasayaki Glitter DT card

Just had to use the fab title this is just one of those cards I played and played on ..I think it took longer to make this one than any other ..It is for a seven year old Granddaughter who loves fairies..She is coloured onto Neenah card using Polychromos Pencils..The papers are from a pad I got from Liddl's a while back and have encapsulated glitter on them..I mounted these onto craft card..I cut the image out from TLace dotted fancy Circles and then cut a background from Basic Circles which just shows between the scallops..this was cut in craft card ..but a fairy needs sparkle so out came SN Sparkle Pens and I coloured around the edge of the circle and once dry I mounted the topper on top.Then I cut a strip of the same paper as the background ,matted with craft card and glued across center,then I cut another strip of craft card and sparkled with the pens again,then glued this on the top of the strip as you can see in the pics..I then cut two lots of  TLace  I think they are Springtime border flowers and hand coloured them with yes you guessed Sparkle pens again..The Butterflies are from Sara Davies Collection and also coloured with Sparkle pens ..It was fun being a kid again,but I am afraid its back to being a grown up again for my next card..Thank you for visiting .. Digital delights by Louby Lou.. Fore! a Special Brother

I could not resist this cheerful chap his name is Golfing Jimmie and ,well it even makes sports cute ..as you may guess I am not into sports at all...lol!..I have coloured him on Neenah card with Polychromos pencils,as I have the golfing Background too..The background and all the papers have been mounted onto Craft card..The papers are an odd few from my stash that go perfect with this ,from a pad from so long ago It had all checks and dot paper in ..I thought was great at the time,how we change over the years lol!.Now all the papers are patterned and bright and bold..but for this card I felt that these just worked perfect as I wanted to have Jimmie stand out and the background.The label is a computer generated one that goes nicely with this image as I have a plan for this card lol!,Brother may be a hint lol!..I added some dots wth my Pitt pen to look like a ball had bounced past the little lad into the hole,a little detail we can do to make our cards a little more special ..Thank You for dropping by :)xx

For a Special Friend..Sasayaki Glitter

Today I have this fab card, I have used one of the beautiful Sasayaki Glitter New Release images,coloured it onto Neenah card with Polychromos Pencils..I then mounted it onto black card..The papers I used for the background are from Polkadoodles Magic Garden CD Rom..So full of not only stunning papers but beautiful flowers ,toadstools and much more ..just love all Nikky Hall's cd's and Artwork..All of these are also mounted onto black card and layered onto the 8x8 card base.I have used the card with the crease at the top.Before adding the topper I printed a sentiment from pc and added to black card and popped just behind the topper ,then added it all to the card with 3D glue gel.To decorate I have cut out two of the new Tonic Gerbera Daisy flowers and leaves from Centura pearl and coloured with SN pens to co- ordinate with the card ,finishing with a pretty floral gem in orange..I usually cut the flowers in white card as I like to colour my own ..I used white with a hint of gold Centura Pearl ..this gives the flowers a pretty sheen even though they are hand coloured,also it it a super card for this type of flowers as it does tend to hold its shape and does hold up to posting and also to storing over time too..Thank you for popping by :)xx
