Ahoy There... Mitzy Pirate Digital Delights by Louby Lou

This fabulous Pirate from Digital Delights bu Louby Lou is called Mitzy Pirate and boy was he a lot of fun to colour too,Got to be one of my favourite ones ,bring back my life down Cornwall. I used Neenah card and coloured him with polychromes Pencils ,the actual colours are very vibrant and look a little paler with the lighting sorry..These are by fare my favourite colours together and you always get a fresh clean looking design. I mounted this onto black card..Next using a 8x8 card Blank I cut and mounted the beautiful papers..(These I got from a cheap grocery store here in the uk..so keep your eyes open you can find wonderful things anywhere lol )... onto black card, then added to the card ..The paper had a lovely wave pattern on the bottom and I wanted to use this so I cut this out and using 3D glue I added it a little offset to give the waves more 3D and bring them up onto the image..I then cut out some shells and starfish from a different sheet and added to the top corner of the topper to finish the fun sea fantasy, making it a beautiful card for any little man in your life..Thank you for popping by  :)xx

My Besties Uk .. Febuary Same but Different

This is one of this really fun images to colour and you can let your imagination just run wild and tell a story ..I have kept her quite soft this time and coloured her in the more Pastel coloured Polychromos pencils ,but I have also added a variety of colours into the main beautiful petal on her head to give it shape and definition, that's why I love my pencils so much..It is coloured onto Neenah card and backed onto Craft card as are all the backing papers..Today I have used my scrap box as I wanted soft colours and lots of layers ..Its a great way to use up the bits you cut off and could not bear to throw away as they are too pretty.. The Background was off my Digital Design by Do crafts  and has a matching insert..this was actually done for another card and never got used at the time ..I save all my over prints too ..God knows what would happen if my home caught on fire lol..its more like a craft shop lol..Every time I buy something new because I need it ..It's where can I put it lol..Bet your all the same he he ..The Flowers are from Spelbinders Bitsy range as are the leaves and to finish no fairy card is worth it;s salt without bling so I have added unusual for me rather too many pretty pink glittery hearts but I just love it and it does look so pretty too..Thank you for visiting :) xx

Fairy Love ..Morgan's Artworld

Todays card I have created a lovely heart shaped easel card..I have kept the design very simple as I did not want to detract from the main topper..The lovely stamp from Morgans Artworld has been coloured with Prismacolor Pencils and Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card,I have shown the main card twice the top one is lit by normal lighting and the bottom one is from lighting more from the back as it does seem to show the image off a little better ,but casts too much of a shadow ,but as it represents more of the true colour of the image I have included it.. I have used a cream card base.Centura Pearl in a lovely pink..Tattered Lace dies..basic hearts and dotted hearts ..The two smaller hearts on the front I have added SN Sparkle pens too and they have given that extra twinkle and work perfectly fine on the Centura...To finish I added some small pink roses and added the Sparkle pens to them to so they are deeper in colour and twinkle ,and added the little white flowers to finish ..Thank You for taking the time to pop by :) xx

Knitty Kitties Purfect Mum

Hiya ,Todays card is from someone who I won some digis from on a challenge ..Knitty Kitty..Love her stamps so cute and I have decided I can fit some cards in here and there to , so I am in on her very small Design team as she starts up.. The lovely image is coloured with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card and mounted onto black card..I have not coloured the background as there is writing on the image and it would have become lost.. The beautiful glittered paper that I used is from my stash it came in a pack with just one piece of paper and lots of frames and is hand made paper and nice and thick .This was also mounted onto black card.. I collect all sorts and I think this came from a discount shop a few years ago .Fits nicely with the theme..The green part circles I have cut two circles in different positions and mounted onto black card to match everything else, then I fussy cut it and placed where I wanted it on the card..I then trimmed off the excess, then stuck it to the base card. The Flowers are from Tattered Lace and coloured with SN pens to coordinate..To finish I added som fish scaled gems which have iridescent multi coloured coating ,shows green, but on the pictures look more purple..Must be the different light angles.I then added two crystal hearts to the topper.Thank you for taking the time to visit :)xx

613 Avenue Create One Layer Card

This fab image is from QKR Stampede. For todays card we have had to do a simple one layer card..For me this is an absolute first time doing one like this ,but always open for a challenge and as it is a card for my fella it has had to be done late at nighr loland on an 8x8 card blank..cannot just give him a tiny card ..The image was printed onto Neenah card, then coloured using Polychromos Pencils..The Wording was added before printing ,but the hearts I drew around a small wooden heart, inked it in ,then coloured and went over with SN Sparkle pens..Sorry they do not show up too well on the photos..Thank you for pop by :)xx

Crafter's Companion A Country Life

This new Cd from Crafters Companion A Country Life features the beautiful artwork of the Talented Morgan Fitzsimons.. As many who follow my blog may already know I am on her design team, but so far you have only seen her fantasy work..This cd gives you a soft ,romantic feel into country life in taking you down country paths to Cottages that would look beautiful on your wall ,or even on a bag or cushion cover ..I have not mastered this skill yet lol ..It is beautifully coloured, there are some new additions,a lovely gift box of small cards with a matching no glue box, Heart shaped easel cards and many more goodies.. I aim to give a little inspiration..I do some easier cards as not everyone is able to do hard cards from day one ,most are simple to do by just looking at them..
The most important thing I do want to say about CD crafting is..Yes it does have a place in the craft room..I started this way ,Ok then my cards were not like they are now ,but remember I have many years experience behind me now.The first scared me and I did not have a clue,so don't be faint hearted ,they are designed so you can use everything to create a beautiful card ,or you can just use the basics and add your own embellishments..It is all about having fun, experimenting ,do lay it out on your card before sticking or gluing down and let your imagination do the rest ..but most of all enjoy what you do :)xx

This is made using the full sized card Decoupage there are quite a few layers on this and it
gives this a lot of depth and makes it look very special

This is from the Card Companion Section ,using it at full size and done on a 8x8 card base
Simple but really stands out on the shelf

This is the no glue box and the small cards that go inside ,would make a great gift
or even if you do craft shows a nice table filler

I made a beautiful Wall hanging from the Fabric Companion,it was to be a bag but did not work
hence the pretty little gift bag  I made from  cylinder of backing paper of  and folded ends in
.at the bottom and the top folded under to strengthen and added ribbon before
 decorating to match

This is made from the Card Companion section and I created the round easel from card and added
co- ordinating paper and a pretty bow to finish

These are just a few of the samples from the CD that I was allocated to make ,but for more inspiration do pop to

Digital Delights by Louby Lou.. New Release Kandi Kid Bunny

Absolutely thrilled to be starting on my new team ,to head over to see the new releases by the other girls and share a bit of love..My lovely image is Kandi Kid Bunny ..I have coloured her onto Neenah card using Polychromos pencils, I then used the new Pin Point Fancy Rectangles from Tattered Lace to cut the image out..For this image I wanted to keep the background soft so I used pastel chalks to colour the background behind the image and to ground her.. I then mounted her using 3D glue gel onto some beautiful First Editions Love letters card which was cut out Using another fancy rectangle but the basic one, also from TL.Because the papers from this pad are so pretty and also encapsulated with glitter ,for once I decided not to mount it onto a backing card as I wanted it to look softer.,but because the papers are a good thick gsm it is fine and adds weight to the card too, this is not a problem..For this card I used a 7x7 card base.
The flowers are cut from CC Centura Pearl in a lovely pink and have a gorgeous sheen, they hold the flower shape well too.The dies I used for the flowers are from CC Sara Davis Signature Collection,my NOW favorite flower ..You know how it is you get a new set and think hmm that will look good on this ,yes it's happened a few times too lol..The leaves are from the same set but cut from odd card from my stash..To finish I pulled the blue from the egg out into the flowers by popping in some half round pearls..Thank you for visiting and do pop over to Digital Delights they have some of the most cute stamps I have seen and loads for the lads too ,which I shall also try to feature in my future blogs..Thank you for popping by :) xx
