Crafter's Companion Scruffy Little Kittens Stamps

I have been so thrilled to be working on this launch..The whole CD and the Stamps are Just Delightful, and would suit children of all ages ..Even big ones lol..I have kept the first two stamped cards seperate from the CD for two reasons ,one it was easier for me to do and I wanted to showcase the stamps on their own.. I think that Crafter's Companion is really producing some fabulous stamps and cds now and they are an absolute pleasure and so easy to work with even for a beginner.
For this card I used the papers from the cd and mounted them onto bright yellow card ..The main card blank is a 7x7 square I used a pre- made one. I added the insert ,the layered pieces to the card with Collall all purpose glue and left to dry whilst I dealt with the topper . She has been coloured with Spectrum |Noir Pencils onto Meenah Solar white 216gsm card ( i use this always for all Pencilwork and Pens too )
the pencils I used are
0658,091,097,027,005,097,021,093,120,004,089,022,017
I also uses a Stumpy and Blending fluid to blend the pencils together .. Then due to the time of morning as I keep vampire hours drew around a Die and cut out the stamp ,Using red pen I zig zagged around the shape then using a yellow pencil went around the wdge to give the effect of layering.. I then stuck it onto the now dried base card with Collall 3D glue gell and also using the same glue added the red blooms and gems to finish and added the sentiment also from the stamps too Hope you like her and thank you for visiting :)xx

My Besties UK ..Same but Different

I like doing these as the team all do the same stamp and it is amazing just how different each one interpretates it.. Well I have to admit for me this time it has been a challenge from get go..I coloured her onto Neenah card with Polychromos pencils..I started fine then decided to do something different with the hair ..lol..then changed my mind half way through ,but I actually love how it turned out ..I have used a Tonic die for the background as I thought I would try something different,it was to be a card then I changed my mind it is now a wall hanging lol, told you I had a few design problems ,but it shows that those cards you see by the designers do not always go smoothly ..Ideas don't just jump in our heads ,sometimes we struggle too or a project evolves like this one did and comes out great in the end lol..Its all about having fun and enjoying what your doing.  The die I used is the new Celtic Dream..Beautiful die and very large too. I used mainly craft card throughout ,but used a pink paper from the Crafters Companion Scruffy Little Cat cd sandwiched between the layers to give a pop of colour.. The flower die I used is also a Crafters Companion one ,Its one of Sheena's Perfect Partners ,its the wild rose ..my favorite at the moment ,especially for this time of year.and I used Collall all purpose glue and 3d gel glue to give flowers and topper more depth..Thanks for popping by :)xx

Scrappers Delights Facebook Challenge

I have had fun doing this lovely image ,she is coloured on Neenah card with Polychromos pencils..I decided just to do a section of the girl and make a feature out of her ..I am pleased with the result ,I do not do this often ,but fancied doing something a bit different for a change.I have used First Edition papers and have aged the outer edges on the backing paper  ,I did not want to ink it as I wanted the natural colours to show. The other piece I found a scrap of lace to add to the one side and did my wobbly thing around it ..The topper is backed onto black card and hand fussy cut around ,then added to the card base with 3D glue gel, after sticking all the rest down.To finish I added odd blooms from my stash ,finishing them off in the center with small pink roses ,and added some die cut leaves  to finish..Thanks for popping by :)xx

My Besties Brown and Teal Challenge

Today I have another Bestie girl..It is for the Brown and Teal  Challenge..This is a pretty image but I realised I had actually printed it off a bit big ,but just went ahead and coloured her as I thought she was just too cute lol.. I cut down a 8x8 blank to 14 cm wide so that there would be patterned paper either side of the main image..Somewhere a long time ago I saw a card done similar to this and thought I would give it a go.The center piece is 10 cm ..but you can adjust all these sizes to your own toppers.. This time I used the Topper as a main Feature and Mounted her onto Craft card after colouring her with Polychromos Pencils and shaping the bottom..I then centralised it onto the center of the card .. Then matted and layered my backing paper onto craft card and stuck onto Inside of the card the paper is from a Pad called "The best of Pinkpaislee"..I left for a few minutes to settle ..Coffee time lol..Then came back to it and cut around the topper leaving about half a cm around the sides and the bottom..Lastly I trimmed card level at the top ..and to finish I added to brought blooms on with 3dglue gel and added a sparkle gems in the middle..It is a really different card ,simple to make and really has shelf apeal too.. Thanks for looking :)xx

Scrappers Delights Challenge

I love Scrappers Delights digi stamps ..I do not just love and do the latest ,but like this one I have gone for one of the older designs and what a little stunner this one is too..I have created a rather simple card as I thought I would like to show this lovely Pixie off rather than over load with flowers and fauna.I have used a 7x7 card for thid one..I used a Sheena Douglas Embossing folder for the background ,this is coloured with Faber Castel Gel Sticks ..these are amazing and give a brilliant result as you can see..At sometime in the future I shall do a piece with just them ..,just finding time lol.I mounted this onto Craft card and stuck to card base with Collall all purpose glue.I used a tonice die out of the Verso range for the background cut in Centura Pearl with a hint of gold. This I added with Collall 3D gell to give it a bit of 3d ..The Topper I coloured using Polychromos Pencils ..I drew around an oval die and did a hand cut ,but made it wobbly as I prefere this ,hides faults and looks nice too..I then went all around the edge with a darker green pencil and also blended it a little to take away stark lines..It was then added using the 3D glue and a green spotted bow was popped in one corner and a flower placed on top of it and a dazzling gem in the middle to finish..Thanks for looking :)xx

ps. the flowers on the dress were put on by colouring through a fine stencil :)

Rick St.Dennis 30th Bithday card

This card I have done for my Niece to give to her husband on his Birthday. One of his Pashions is Dragons so what better an image than this one ..After all he is her Knight in Shining Armour.I used a 8x8 card blank and some papers I got from a digi kit I had years ago ,sorry cannot remember the name as I used to put them in generic folders. The image is on Neenah card and coloured with Polychromos Pencils..In total I spent about eight to nine hours on the colouring alone on this one.I cut the image out by using the edge die on one of my Tonic Die sets, then mounted it onto blaxk card..I then cut out freehand as closely folowing the die shape as possible.,and put my squiggly line around the inside to finish..I then matted all the papers with black card and added them to the card using Collall all purpose glue..then layered them where I wished them to be . The insert went in next and I also made a pocket for my Niece to put a poem in of her own , she writes some beautiful poems too..Last thing was to use Collall 3D glue gel to add the main topper ,slightly shape the labels to give depth and add the 30 today sentiment..I am sure he will love this, hope you do too :)xx
