Something Old From Your Stash ..Julia Spiri Stamps

Todays lovely image from Julia Spiri is coloured using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card.. My something old from my stash is the last bits of off cuts of paper from my Hobbycraft pad from about two yrs ago ,the front has long since gone and there are just a couple of full papers and odd off cuts,these being some of them...I mounted them all onto craft card and added a die cut border from CC Downton Abbey , as the border so pretty ..Once in place I cut out two of the smaller flowers  from my Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms 6 ,just got these and already love them ..I used a free paper pad from a magazine for the flowers and top of the butterfly..the leaves and underside of the butterfly are cut from cor dinations cardstock and to finish I added some tiny crystals to add a touch of sparkle ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Add Some Pink..Glitter n Sparkle Weekly Challenge DT Card

This week I have had the pleasure of colouring my very first Lemon Shortbread digi stamp Its a slightly different Halloween card ..The image is definately a Halloweene Fairy ,but I felt I wanted to do a bit of a different twist to the card after all if we all did the same ,why have the fun of the challenged lol  ..Unfortunately it has not turned out quite like I wanted it too ,I chose Purple as the dress colour and wish I had not It tends to do funny,it did it once before and I forgot grrr!!.. Anyway she is coloured in Polychromos on Neenah card and all the papers are from a pad I got from Liddl last year,and these have encapuslated glitter on them which adds a pretty shimmer..I have mounted all of these onto craft card and my coloured piece.The main papers have all been added to the 8x8 card base with Collall all purpose glue and the topper by 3D Collall gel glue..The flowers are cut from Pink Centura Pearl with Dies from Sue Wilson Collection called Cornflowers ,but the leaves are from a punch from Hobycraft .I also added some pearls and some lace to the brown spotted paper before mounting it too ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Shaped card ..My Besties Uk DT Card

I have had loads of fun creating this today....The beautiful Mermaid is coloured on Neenah card using a cheap pencil from Hong Kong that a friend of mine had got,I brought some for my Granddaughter ,but I think they will stay with me ..They are Marco Rafine coloured Pencils,oil based and sold in a set of 72..Yes they are nice to use.. Not as good as my Polychromos but I think if I remember I paid £12 or so for them and they are well worth the money,so for a beginner who wants to try pencils a great start as they are really creamy and layer really good.
This project is a wall hanging to sit next to my PC and replace a very weary one I did about two years ago..I have used Tonic Celtic Dream Dies and a Tattered Lace fancy circles for the blue outer ring.. I cut them out in Centura Pearl in Pink,Blue and Beige..And the flowers and leaves are Crafter's Companion wild briar from Sheena's collection.. A couple of the rings have been hand cut to get the next colour in ,but most by my E-Bosser.. I have if you see the last picture added the layers by using 3d Glue gel by Collall ,and used it to apply the flowers and the gems too..I hope you like it ..thank you for visiting

Mermaid and Octopus..Glitter n Sparkle Weekly Challenge DT Card

Todays card is using a Julia Spiri Image ,I know I am on the team ,but sometimes we have to do the same on other teams too..She has been coloured with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card. ..The papers are all odds n ends from my scrap pile and the pieces have all been mounted onto craft card,then added to an 8x8 card blank..I have also added a post card from one of my Papermania kits too as I thought it would go well with the theme....One the papers were glued to card template I added the topper using 3D glue gel ..I used some odd flower blooms from my stash that I brought last year and some newer pretty gems to finish and to add a bit of sparkle.. Holiday Mistletoe Nymph ..613 Avenue Create DT Card

This beautiful image is by Aurora Wings, I do not get many chances to colour her work..this is where I started my journey into Blogging ..I have coloured it in with Polychromos pencils onto Nehnah card..The backing card is cut using one of Tattered Laces Essential dies.I then cut a top section in craft card and covered the bottom with embossed card from a CC Embolishus folder from the Vintage Christmas collection..to which I treated it with Gilding wax to give the worn vintage effect.I did the same to the surrond to the top of the card and the Tonic Snowflake from the Rococo range..When done I added the Snowflakes with 3Dglue gel,a stopper to the bottom and the topper .and to finish I added a few felt flowers left over from last year I brought from Hobbycraft..Thank you for stopping by :)xx

Julia Spiri Add Some Bling DT card

Todays card I have taken a 7x7 card and cut it diagonally..The image
 is one of Julia's latest release.. and I just wanted to do an autumn feel card as the days are drawing in now..I have coloured her on Neenah card with Polychromos pencils..I just love oranges and brown they aleays look so rich . and Must be my favourite colours of allThen cut her out with a Tonic die, and a matching one in craft card ,then used 3D glue gel to mount onto craft card and popped to one side to dry..I then cut and mounted papers from my DCWV Fresh Floral Stack pad onto craft card..then using a thin off cut of craft card I used permanent fix spray glue and covered the strip with Wow fine Glitter..I love this glitter as it covers so well and actually looks shop brought..You know what I mean girls...I then trimmed to size and mounted all the pieces on the card blank. I then once more used 3D glue gel and placed the topper in the desired position .I have just brought a new set of dies from TLace so thought why not so I cut out the fabulous Ava Flower in craft card and used Gilding wax on it to make it look like old metal..and to finish I added the tiniest crystals to the tiny flowers and it looks so pretty and sparkly..It is a shame the pics do not really pick this up ,but I hope you get the general idea..Thank You for visiting,I really do appreciate your support and comments :)xx

Crafter's Companion Downton Abbey

This beautiful Triple from Crafter's Companion Was coincided to be released as the new series of Downton Abbey was to come onto our TV Screens.. I have loves and followed this from the beginning so when I found that I was on the Launch of this CD I was over the moon..It comes in a different format to the normal .. and you click and the doors open to allow you to enter either the upstairs on Disc one  or the downstairs on Disc two..
Each member of the family or the Staff are named ,when you click on then you open up to beautiful papers and also coordinating papers for each person.. Both of the first two discs are just full of amazing papers and even if you think this is not for you ..You are totally wrong..The papers are fresh ,rich and so varied..It is an excellent source for papers..There are also many fabulous mens papers on there too and will be beautiful on all sorts of projects whether modern or vintageI was so amazed at how many were on here compared to the normal CDs..The Images go from soft romantic Period charm to the Handsome well dressed gentlemen ,then to the more down to earth under stairs ,and for people you love who are into cooking ,you can make a beautiful vintage card ,to a pretty sweet little dress made from the lovely papers in the girls collections..This CD allows your imagination to run wild..and you can be as decorative ,or as simple as you wish..The toppers are beautiful ,embellishments ..well many of you have already seen the samples on the TV already..
The third cd gives you special makes that have been designed for you to make incredible cards ..All in all it has to be one of my favourite Launches this year ..The Dies are just Gorgeous and not just for this CD..look what you can use them on in your other makes..I know a lot will be used in mine soon ..Thank you for visiting :) xx
