Same but Different ..My Besties Uk DT Card

Its Same but Different day today over  at My Besties uk..Remenmber this is so you have further inspiration from the girls on the DT.. So you still have time to enter into this months Challenge,,so good luck .. As usual I have coloured my image onto Neenah card using Polychromos Pencils..I have backed the image onto black card,and also done so with the beautiful papers I have used from the First Editions Pad.. Floral Pavilion... Once mounted I applied them to the base card which is 8x8..I then glued the beautiful black felt cut out , I actually brought from Poundland ,onto the top layer and this had to be done with 3D glue as the normal glue just got sucked into the material..Once stuck I also used 3D glue to add the topper and to finish a beautiful satin black bow and gems..I wanted to make the card look fresh and very elegant and I think It worked well..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Morgan's Artworld Saturday Inspiration Card

Hiya ,its that time again for my inspiration..For today's card I am afraid this stamp is not available in the shop yet but this is a taste of the new stamps coming soon,but I thought you would love to see her ..And of course I wanted to colour her too lol!.. She is coloured on Neenah card with Polychromos Pencils,The papers are all mounted onto craft card ,and the papers are from my Polkadoodles Magic Garden cd ..Fabulous cd hope I get time to use more than the papers soon .The dies I have used are from Crafters Companion and are Ornamental Screen from the new Downton Abbey set.,Saras Signature dies Floral Delight range ..Pretty Petals and from the Butterfly Lullaby range ..Fancy Flourishes I have cut the Latice and also framed the image with Centura Pearl with a hint of gold..I also cut the flowers from what was left and coloured with SN pens,,The flourishes were cut in craft card and coloured with SN Sparkle Pens to add a little sparkle .Finally I finished the flowers with tiny faux gold pearl s and balanced the card by placing them on the oposite side too..Thank you for visiting :)xx

New Release Digital Delights by Louby Lou

It's New Release day at Digital delights today,and my project is using H for House ,it has a blank space at the top of the house, so I popped in Home rather than House as I wanted to create This card .I have had it in my head for a little while so I added it before colouring..The image is coloured with Polychromos Pencils from Faber Castell my favorite medium as most of you will be aware.I used Neenah card to colour it onto, another favorite as it holds all the layers of the pencils well.The Papers are a pack also from Digital Delights and the link is below, very useable and I have used them on several projects so far ,even though they are easter papers. I fussy cut the house out , cut all my papers to size and mounted them onto craft card and added them onto the card base ,this is an 8x8 blank card... The top layer I did a wiggle line thingy around it to frame it and placed the house where I wanted it before I was ready to stick it down, I then did a light pencil line where it sat so I could draw in the ground and the grass..This I did with a Faber Castell Pitt black Pen ,once done I used 3D Collall glue to pop the house onto the card ,I added the clouds and the stepping stones and a few birds in the background..I did not colour any of this in as I wanted the Stamp I had coloured to be the main feature of the card..I then added the computer generated sentiment to finish..It is something totally different but it does allow the coloured image to really jump from the card ..I actually love it for its simplicity ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Anything Goes My Besties Uk

Todays lovely image was coloured onto Neenah card using Polychromos Pencils..The papers are from my Tonic Paper collection I believe it is the Summer Morning one.All papers have been mounted onto craft card ..The dies I have used for the flowere are the new Tonic ones called Woodland Asters and  were cut from pink Centura Pearl, the leaves in white card and coloured with a SN pen .After mounting the image onto craft card I added lace down either side of the topper with Collall 3D gel as I know this will hold it in place ,Then I added it to the base card and then decorated with the flowers,they are really pretty and lacey so do not over whelm the card ,this time I chose not to back them..To finish I added the faux half pearls to their centers and three blue gems to the top right of the topper to balance..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Digital Delights by Louby Lou ..Hostess Monday

Hiya this is my very first Hostess Monday for Digital Delights..I thought I would create a box for this occasion as we as crafters always do cards ,but it is nice to to present a beautifully wrapped gift, and this one would be lovely for any girl from a little one to one like me ..Lol!. Firstly I created a box 180cm long  x135 wide x.40cm deep ..The base is made of 300gsm from CC Sheena's card and the top is made using Centura Pearl in a lovely purple /lilac. I have coloured the beautiful Flower Powered Dolled up Daisy. I have coloured her in with Polychromos Pencils from Faber Castell onto Neenah card,then fussy cut her out .I then started to decorate the box in which I used one of the papers from Digital Delights Blossoming Egg digital paper pack.I cut them into strips and mounted them onto white card and added them all around the box with a Collall Glue gel as I wanted it to grab tight and stay in place and be flexible as the lid will obviously be lifted off and on and weaker glue could cause then to drop off..To decorate the top I used Crafter's Companion Sara Davies collection dies throughout,cut once more from the same300 white card,The flowers and the words I coloured with Crafters Companion Sparkle Pens to add a little twinkle and finished with some pretty half pearls from my stash..Such a pretty fun project that can be used to keep little treasures in afterwards ,ideal when you have a little gift you want to make just that bit more special xx

Beach Beauty. 613 Avenue Create DT card

Todays fun card is done using a QKR Stampede Digi stamp..Just love this image..I have coloured her using SN Pens and Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..Yep thats right I used Pens lol,not very happy with them but I have had a heavy workload this weekend and needed to cut some time out,in the end it still took as long ..The background is all mine in pencils and so is the skirt and a bit of the shading on the beautiful shy girl lol .I have used Tonic Die to cut the main image out called Twisted Twine Square.Just useing the two outer dies.. I then backed in craft card  using a TL Basic Squares die ,just a little larger than the other to just show under the cut outs and over the edges..Gives that rope feel..The backing I have kept White and used a CC Embosalicious folder of Buntings to keep the beach feel.This was then mounted onto craft card to match the center.. Then added the center topper with 3D glue gel to give it a bit more depth.. I have kept this one CAS as I think the image tells its own story and t is just a lovely great fun card,both to create and to give ,will make anyone smile ..Thank you for popping by :) xx

Saturday Inspiration.. Morgans Artworld

Hiya,for today's inspiration card I have created an easel card using one of the new Create-a-card Dies from Crafter's Companion This one is called RUTH..These have not yet been launched ,but are available all over the internet... I have used the beautiful Butterfly Kisses Digi and coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card.. I then fussy cut her out by drawing around the die to the size I wanted ,dont forget you have the cut ,plus the inside edge and the outside edge too..For the Pink around the topper I coloured some white Sheenas card with SN Water Colour pens,at the same time I coloured the half lace doily I had cut prior to match,This is from the original Downton Abbey Collection from CC.
The backing Papers are from First Edition Love Letters and I have edged them with pink in the same paper but off the back of another piece.I glued all the papers in place then stuck the doily down so it was not stuck at the top as I wanted to use this as a stopper for the card,I just gently turned it up so it caught the top card and held it in place.The Ribbon used is unusual but I thought it would suit nicely. ,a bit hard tying as it is a little stiff, but it does look pretty in a bow.The flowers are also from CC they are from the Die- sire Range and always add something special to a card ,each time you use them they look so different ..thank you so much for popping by :)xx
