Love You Beary Much ..613 Avenue Create DT Card

This is such a fun card and brought back memories of going through Mum's Button Tin ..Bless her xx..I have coloured this onto Neenah card using Polychromos {Pencils..Firs though I used my Do crafts Digital Designer to pop the background behind the bear..All the papers and the background for the bear is from the beautiful Wellington Bear Male Collection..Really is a fab cd and I do like to use what I have ,where I can as its such a wast..It is on here that I learn the basic designing of my cards many years ago and its the first time I actually incorporated it behind the stamp ..It works Brilliant so pleased with the outcome...All of the backgrounds were mounted onto craft card and I added then onto the 8x8 card..The Topper I fussy cut by hand to get the effect and as the card is for my chap of course no flowers ,so went down the line of buttons which actually go so well with this lovely stamp, Sometimes its just nice to have some fun and let your hair down and this was definately one of those cards lol..I shall be adding his name to the your right of the bear with die cut letters but will do that after as I always do usually..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Daughters Birthday card

Todays card is the card I did for my Daughter's Birthday which was on Sunday.. I have coloured the beautiful image in using Polychromos and Prisma Color Pencils ..love how they work so well together..Done on Neenah card. The Backgrounds are odds n ends out of my scrapbox and last pages folders,so not sure which they were sorry..All these were mounted onto Black card.. The flowers are from Sara Davis;s Signature collection from Crafter;s Companion..These were cut in white card and coloured using SN pens to co- ordinate with the colours in the papers..Once dries I used a ball tool to shape them and popped then in place once the topper had been put into position with 3D glue gel..gives just a little more definition to them..To finish I added some smokey quartz effect gems to the centers of the flowers and then added a few jet black gems to the main card.. A bit different to my normal cards,but this is so my Daughter,at the moment she has the most beautiful coloured hair its blues,purples and pinks ..being dark headed and olive skinned it really suits her too ..She loved the card ..Thank for popping by :)xx

Same but Different week ..My Besties Uk DT Card

Its that time for my same but different card..I have coloured this lovely fairy onto Neenah card using both my Polychromos and my Prismacolor Pencils,they work beautifully together as you can see and was my first go was pleased with the result tooI..I hand drew around the oval die to put it into position where I wanted it on the figure and hand cut the figure layer..Then cut the background out with it's next die from The Tattered Lace Basic Ovals..All my papers are mounted onto craft card as it always goes well with Fae and nature ..I have done something slightly different this time in not adding flowers ..I have used my First Edition Up Up and Away papers throughout, the base paper having encapsulated glitter on it for added sparkle..All these I have matted as you can see..The two upper papers are matt.The green one I added a feature wiggly line ,sorry to baffle you with science lol!..The other I used the blue to bring the sky into the card..I have used the tags inside these are really pretty as these also have the encapsulated glitter on them too..To finish I added a couple of silver bird charms and some flower embellishments in the same tones as the flowers..I have kept the card a little plainer this time as the image is extremely intricate and decorative and any more flower enhancement would have only cluttered the card and left it rather overpowered..Thank You for visiting :)xx

Birthday Girl.. 613 Avenue Create DT Card

This beautiful Bugaboo image is coloured in with Prismacolor Pencils on Neenah card..I have used an aqua card to mount the papers onto throughout from my stash ..I am sorry the names of the papers are lost to me as all but the backgrounds were in my off cut box ,and the backgrounds in my file of last papers so no help there either ..Sorry about this but most of my stuff was packed for Christmas and I must get it all back out again..hence five in the morning one of the longest to make cards I have made lol..The flower Dies are Crafters Companion ,in the classic collection I think forever flora or something similar ,I store on magnetic sheets and lost this tag..The Ovals for the stamp and the backgroungd are Tattered Lace Ovals .But I did know the stamps name ..Not bad for an all nighter lol.. Morgan Fitszimon Baby Dragon .. Saturday Inspiration

For this Saturday's Inspiration I have decided to create a box using the new Tattered Lace Dies..The image has been coloured using Prismacolors on Neenah card,it was a real labour of love too been working on it for two nights now lol..I then cut it out using the New Hexagon Tattered Lace dies.. I brought before Christmas and just had the chance to use then using the dies that match the box dies I  layered the topper onto some black card to add a bit of drama to it..The small Chevron Dies are from Crafter's Companion Downton Abbey Range ,and I thought it just fitted in with the dragon ( a heraldry thingy and I thought it was a nice idea) A lot of Morgans beautiful Stamps would suit people who play these games with elves and dragons etc,she does some really beautiful work and she also does painting to ..I love her work and she is English too ..So she gets things like our Robin Hood and Maid Marion..Also she dresses her beautiful ladies in gorgeous period clothing..Any way do pop to the blog and see what the Design Team have done there is some really beautiful work on there ,and of course if you wish you can enter a card to by clicking on the link bellow..Thanks for visiting..:)xx

Guest Designer Card for Unicorn Challenge Blog

Hiya ..Todays card is another Guest Desiner card.. I have chosen this beautiful image as it is for the theme of glamarous ,and I thought this was just the ticket..I have coloured her using my new pencils I had for Christmas..Prismacolors by Sanford..I need a bit more time to get used to these but for the first go I am very impressed..I think they are a little easier to use than my Polly's ,but not quite as good ,but that ithought may change yet with more use of course lol..I used Neenah card to print her out onto ,I love this as the pencils always lay down beautifully on this and it withstands the stumpie and the fluid work too..The Beige backgrounds are from a free cd I got from Crafter's Companion last year Crafter's Compedium..very handy as its got some pretty papers on and they are in loads of different colours too..The blue one is an odd one from my stash so sorry dont know as was last of..All backgrounds were mounted onto black card to make them pop.. The Embellishments ,lace .scent bottle and bow are from Crafter's Companion ..Downton Abbey Range..They just go beautifully with this and add a touch more glamour..To Finish I added gold and black gems..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Anything goes /circles My Besties UK DT Card

I had such fun making this one up..The theme was circles so circles it is lol..I coloured the lovely image in with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card..The papers I have used are Papermania Happy Birthday to You ..They are so pretty colours and I thought they just suited this card so well ..and of course the large dots on the papers convinced me even more lol..I first drew around the inside of the die to be able to cut around the girls bow and the bunny etc..then I cut out a load of circles in craft card using the Tonic Basic scalloped circles,I then hand drew and cut around the inside of the relevant circles in the various coloured dot papers,then the fussy cutting began as there was no other way as I could not put my hands on my plain circle dies grrr!..But I think it was worth it..Once all circles were glued in place I arranged them on the card but felt it needed more and then added an extra green square ,this seemed to unite the card together ..It is hard sometimes ,you see it in your head ,and on the paper its not quite right ..but this simple square corrected that ..whereas years ago I would have probably thrown it away because it was not working ,now I try something else.I try to explain my workings as not every one who visits is an expert I am not ,but I have learnt by trial and error ..never give up .To finish and decorate I added some odd buttons I thought it was a nice change from flowers and goes with the card theme and image so nicely too ..Thank you for visiting :)
