Something a bit Different Wedding Day

Found this really cute digi on Etsy the other day whilst looking for a nice bit of inspiration for a wedding card for my Window cleaner's friend..This is just so adorable and I will pop the link on at the end..The image is on Neenah Solar white card and coloured using SNpens and pencils..the girl owl and the flowers I have added a bit of sparkle with Wink of Stella clear.I used a heart cut out for the background and artist chalk to get the soft sky.I then mounted onto craft card. My papers are odd one from my stash long ago lost covers so sorry cannot furnish names..I layered the plainer piece onto craft card and edged with Lace , before adding to the background.. The flowers are from
www.sweetlilac.co.uk  they are top quality and always photo beautifully as well as enhance my cards and are really great service too ..

Inky Impressions .. Anything goes

I chose this beautiful image of the fairy as I thought a bit of fantasy and brightness amongst all the fall and winter was needed..she is very pretty..I coloured her with SN pencils and chalked in the background as I like the softer look it gives.. The papers were free from a mag this month and I felt fit the image beautifully ..I also like to use free stuff when I can helps the budget lol., means I can spend it on something else :) To finish off I used craft card and also cut two Tattered Lace corners out in it too ..then I used some blooms to finish,.It has come out pretty ,would be nice for grown up or child ..hope you like it too :) xx

Scrappers Delights Anything goes ..No designer paper

Have had lots of fun with this one ..Since I have started my DT with Scrappers Delights I have always liked this cheeky chap and now I have a reason to use him.. The background is created with a Seena Douglas embossing folder (from Crafter's Companion) I used Tim Holtz ink pads to create the rich colours..When I got the effect I wanted I mounted it onto craft card as wanted to keep this all really earthy..The lovely image is coloured using SN pencils and they have blended beautifully giving the outfit he is wearing a fall feel with all the colours.Using the craft card again I cut the beautiful backing piece out ,it is an old Marriane die I have had for years ..I finished with Sue Wilsons Poinsettia as it just well Looks great ..Thanks for looking ..You will find the image here

Sneak Peek Moonbeam Meadow Crafter's Companion

The first time I saw these little creatures it was love at first sight..Introducing Moonbeam Meadow by Crafter's Companion. For this lovely card I used an A4 sheet I then scored at 1.5 inches and 3.00 inches ,the rest of the card was folded in half.this was my base quick and simple. I then ran a piece of card through a Sheena Douglas A4 folder, it has leaves all over it ..Using all of the colours in the topper I then started adding them over the card until I felt it looked how I wanted it to look. Then using Spray and Sparkle I took it outside and gave it a quick spray of the Pearl Diamond one, this gave it a lovely sheen. The stamp was coloured with SN pencils as follows
Mushroom 080,024,089,084,090

Mice 104,107,087,035,005
Grass 058,047
I then ran another sheet through the embossing folder and this time I cut the leaves out and coloured then for the leaves to add to the flowers, I then added the layered card to base and layered the stamp to match ,popped the flowers and leaves on and added the sentiment from the stamp set ..Thanks for Visiting :)x

Scrappers Delights New Release

This is stunning .. Masquerade the theme..Rich bright colours..I chose to colour her red ..She is coloured with SN pens and pencils on Neenah card..the background I created using artist chalks and gently rubbing through a doily, I chose chalks as they are softer than inks.. I printed her a bit larger than usual ,not thinking and once coloured realised she would almost fill the card..I played around with a few flowers ,ribbons etc ..but to be honest I felt she was too beautiful to adorn so mounted her onto satin board and popped her onto an 8x8 card base .. hope you like here as much as I enjoyed colouring her  :)x

Inky Impressions.. New Release..Back to School ( winner at Robyn's Fetish )

My first Dt card for Inky Impressions..Just loving the gorgeous images that Nikki has Created over there . This is one These are from her New Release ..Not only is there a gorgeous school house but there are just adorable little boys and girls to go with it to ,and an easel too. I chose this little Chappy as it reminded me of my lad Simon who is grown up now.I used a A4 piece of 300 gsm card ,folded it at 1.5 then 1.5 again then folded it in half to create a zig zag card..I matted and layered with black card and used a backing paper from a Woodland friends disc from docrafts as it has cute trees all over it ..I also printed off some grass borders for the front step ..Stuch all this down..Coloured the images wit SN pencils on Neenah paper and then matted and layered the schoolhouse onto the back step..cut out the little boy, then cut some tulips from a die I cannot remember whos. And added that to the card.. Finally I placed the boy on the front step and it looks like he is walking like most lads with not a care in the world , on his way to school..Hope you like it as I have loved making it x

Anything goes with a twist.. New Begginings (Winner at Love to Craft Challenge )

This beautiful Dt card was made from a cut file off the Silhouette Store.. I cut it out of Sheenas Super smooth card from Crafters Companion ..Cuts beautifully and is 300 gsm too ,but really a good card for stamping and colouring on ..But me I will try anything lol.. The Paper I used was from my stash and also cut on my Silhouette. The beautiful Image from Scrappers Delights  http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=89_108&products_id=693  she also has a little brother too and both of them have the option of having a cheeky exposed bottom too lol.. I coloured her with SNpencils as I wanted her to look soft and sweet as a baby does..She has been printed on Neenah card too this is an ideal surface for the pencils as it is very smooth which helps with the blending . The bow is a freebie template frome one of this months Mags no adds on here lol..and I used a oval die to put on the back of the baby, this is a xcut die...Thank you for visiting  :) x

Anything goes with a twist .. Using Diecuts (Got Top 3 for this card)

This has been created for Scrappers Delights Challenge ..Anything goes with a twist Using Die-cuts..Well this is one of my favourite areas..I used the lovely Victorian digi1 http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=110_127&products_id=349
I decided on a winter wonderland . The background is made from a Crafters Companion Vintage Christmas embossing folder,  then going over it with Tim Holtz's Broken china ink to colour, Then I useing a tonic die to cut into the center of the card called Beautiful Bramble from the Intrica range,I then used a square scalloped die in the center and used Memory Box poinsettia dies for the flowers and cut some leaves from Sue Wilson Dies..The Lovely Image was coloured using Spectrum Noir pencils, she was such a pleasure to colour too ,the finished project has a little sheen due to the pencils

which added to the sparkle of the lovely winter themed card..It was finished with punched snowflakes and those stick on sparkles you can get from craft shops ..It could be used as either a Christmas Card or a Winter Birthday.. Thank you for visiting xx

Ppinkydolls I Love Raspberry Ripple

I used beautiful encapsulated glitter papers to create the background of this card I have titled it I Love Raspberry Ripple as that's what it reminds me of with a touch of chocky sauce lol..I matted and layered them onto some very bright pink card. The corner piece is off another piece of card, too pretty to cover ,so I carefully cut around it and then layered it onto pink to match the rest. This one however was stuck down using foam pads to give a bit of depth. The beautiful doll I have spent approximately five hours colouring in with SN pencils as I wanted to give a soft dreamy effect..I then cut her out, gently bent her and stuck her to the card using pinflair glue,to add a bit of depth. Then I added the tad ,punched out some tiny flowers and scattered them around the card.. I think she is very pretty and loved colouring her..You will find her work on Etsy..Thanks for visiting  :) x

Mo Manning boy on Xbox

This lovely boys card was coloured using a beautiful image From Mo Manning's Digital Pencil I did one last month with my own work for a younger boy ,but this one is for one a few years older. The skin and hair are coloured using SN pens and the rest is coloured in using SN pencils ..I much more prefer the pencils as I feel that they are much more receptive to what I want in my colouring, expecially with the clothes...
I matted him onto Black card to showcase him to his best... The backing papers are from my stash and have all been mounted onto black cardstock too ,and stuck down using double sided tape. I then popped foam pads behind the boy topper and positioned him and added the sentiments to finish..The insert matches the background paper.. Thank you for taking the time to visit x

PPinky dolls

Ppinky Dolls have just come to FB these are so beautifully haunting little girls, just lend themselves to pencil colouring which I did with this image. They are an absolute joy to colour and lovely to watch come to life as the colour went on..I use SN pencils and blend them with a paper stumpy and zest pencil blend..I like this one as it smells like lemons.
I used a Tonic die to cut her out and went around the edge with the same pencils and the very edge with TIm Holtz Broken China.. The background Papers are from a pad from Hobbycraft  called Springtime collection, their own make..The blue one I used an ageing tool on ,then the purple I did the edge with the Tonic Punch Twisted Twine, the white is another Tonic Punch, sorry no name on this one.. I matted them all together edging blue with Broken China Ink and Purple with Seedless Preserved also Tim Holtz.. Put the Topper on with foam pads . Then I cut out the flowers using a Die from Heartfelt Creations I believe is Sunburst flowers..I brought this as it goes with their poinsettias , but looks so lovely on here ..I always shape my flowers using a ball tool and foam mat this gives a lovely 3D effect There is to be a label above the flowers but as it is named I did not want to pop it on sorry .. thanks for visiting x

Buttons Ribbons and or Bows

The Delightful image which is Baby Boo Balloon   I coloured her in using my SN pens and pencils, and just finishing with a HB pencil. The background papers are from Lidle, and the shaped backing paper was cut out using one of the new Dutch Doobadoo Stencils they have quite a few shapes ,you can either use them like this or you can use them to cut out a shaped card. . I then cut out an oval by Tonic called Romantic vine tied a ribbon Coloured with pens to co-ordinate) around shaped background popped the oval which I also coloured to co- ordinated with the image, behind the ribbon..Popped bow in place using Collal Gel, then using foam pads and Collal Gel gently Shaped Baby Boo to give her more of a 3d aspect and popped her in place. The white flowers are cut on my silhouette, as were the leaves, popped on various pink buttons .It really looks pretty too...Please come on over and join in our challenge and have some fun. Happy Birthday Milly

Well it was my Granddaughter Milly's 12th Birthday this week and boy what a rush to get her cards don,I was disappointed as was not able to spend as long on them as I would have liked, then I took the pics and they were off center and that was it for me grrr..The first was a Saturated Canary image ,coloured in SN pens and Pencils, mainly pencils as having bad pen days at the moment lol.. the others were an Aurora Wings mermaid child and a Sherri Baldi Fairy in a bath ..All coloured the same way ..I am just popping the pics on if you have any questions please contact me thank you xx

First Christmas Card (Honourable Mention )

My entry into Christmas in July on the Aurora Wings ..I have used the lovely Poinsettia nymph to make my very first Christmas Card this year..It may yet have to be shared around ..so wait and see if you get a card or photo copy lol..I decided that I wanted to keep the background simple so I used a paper of one of my Christmas Do-crafts digital cd's, layered and mounted the paper ,then I coloured the image in using my SN pens and pencils to colour it in and just finished off with a simple hb pencil ..I then gently shaped the nymph after cutting it out carefully and mounted it using double sided foam pads..Simple yet extremely beautiful..Mitzi who is Aurora wings does some of the most beautiful work I just love her designs ..Thanks for looking x

Enchanting Girly Girl Scrappers Delights Fairy Card

This is one of the beautiful Scrappers Delights  Pixie Corner set of Digi Stamps, it is a  group of three beautiful pixies, and also comes with some background imagery too..I chose this pixie as I just fell in love with her ,she has been coloured very gently with a mixture of SN pens and Pencils,There is more pencil work on this image than on most of my work as I wanted her to look very ethereal, and the colouring soft.. I then popped just a dusting of glitter on her wings , to make them look magical.. To finish her I have used some 6x6 pink patterned paper I found in my stash..I have more stash than I need got to stop saving  just in case..glad I saved this though)I popped half a doily either side of this before adding to the green base. The green being from my stash too..I inked around the edges of both with Tim Holtz Old Paper distressed ink and distressed the green to give it vintage feel.. I then popped in some palest pink paper  roses I brought from the Range, a few swirls and leaves

East Wings Floral Kiss

This is such a stunning image from East Winds I absolutly love the themes of their digi stamps they suit me down to the ground lol.. This on is called Floral Kiss but it is well worth going to their shop on etsy and pop in east winds in the search ..they are absolutely great and they have blogs which you can enter ,challenges  as well. The image is coloured with SN pens and pencils ,I use both to give more richness to the finished image , to me this looks right, without the pencils it feels flat but this is me ...The beautiful backing paper that I put the image on is from a paper pack I got from Liddles when they had a craft thingy on and they are really yummy and has encapsulated glitter on them. Because of this I did not want to cover up much more than necessary ,so popped a few of the Sue Wilson leaves on, in white and some small pink flowers in the same card as I used in the layering of the image ,it has a nice sateen finish ..it comes from my stash forgot I had it too ..lol..Thanks for taking time to visit x

Sassy Cheryl's Welcome Digi Card

I was wandering as you do on Facebook and found someones card with one of these digi's on and it was love at first sight . They are so charming little people who just grab your heart and remind you of your own kids as they were growing up. Even reminded me of some of the things that I got up to lol ..needless to say I spent quite some time looking through them . Main problem was which one to get ..Problem was solved when I was on their Facebook page and the lovely artist was giving this away as a freebie for a limited time, so I doubt it is still there sorry ,but you can just look at mine or go to Sassy Cheryl's Neighbourhood  on Facebook.. You could also head on over to www.sassycherylsstamps.com to see the full collection including Boys and Christmas ..There are so many you just keep going ooh and ahhh..
Right now onto my card
The background papers are from my stash and the lovely blue cardstock used for layering was from my bargain at Lidls ..You have to save money so you can spend on important things like new pens or new machines to play with lol.I used a Tonic punch to cut the border trim on the left hand side this was called the Beautiful Bramble Border.. nice and easy to use and a nice clean cut too. I mounted and layered the card as you can see this is replicated on the inside too as it finishes the card off I just have to add the verse.I then used flowers from my stash ..I had already done my topper which I shall describe now.. I coloured her in using SN pens and pencils, when finished I did not want to leave it square so drew around a die and hand cut the spike design around her ..still feeling not quite right I carefully used the same colour pen as her jacket to go around the edges and then using a fine pen then put tiny stitching around to finish ..It add a nice point of interest and breaks the squareness of the card and the layering.. Hope you  like it and Thanks for visiting :)
I will be entering this card into

Crafter's Companion Cards

These are a selection of my recent Crafters Companion Cards..The first one in the frame is from the new Halcyon Days cd..It was lovely and easy to make ,the images throughout were beautiful ,I added a variety of flowers from my stash to finish..Had well over a hundred likes was thrilled on the Facebook group . The second Pink one is from the new Vintage Floral..all I can say about this kit is WoW.. I used one of the 8x8 embossing folders for the background printed a ribon layered it with gold voil ribbon so you could still see the paper one under it then put some lace under it..the whole background is very touchy feely.I found the old advert from some vintage images on google and added a few flowers to it using the original leaves as the greenery. then popped on all the other elements I printed off the cd ..I Then used one of the lovely papers as an insert inside the card . The third one which is the round easel card ,I made for a Challenge ..got no where never mind.. The easel is an unusual twist as it is twisted at an angle instead of the normal straight on..After all the matting and layering I created the stop by hand cutting the little bat out ,scoring it into shape and made the little ball drew on the lines then used toothpicks for the stick things..It never fails to amaze me how knowledgeable I am to the wonderful sports games that men play lol NOT..This was made from the Makey Bakey cd x

Seaside villiage by Lapashe

This was a really rush rush card ..found out about six o'clock the night before that this card was needed and although I knew my friend was coming this weed I was under the impression it was on wed or thurs ..oh well.. The main image is from my lapashe cd..there are some lovely scenes on there I like them as they are very generic and they are so crisp and sharp.I decoupaged the image about four layers and most of it is at the front on the boats..In real life it was stunning ,but had to take pic at night sorry..Backing paper was all from stash .. The shells I Googled good old Google lol.. I felt it needed something more, they are actually shaped too which you cannot really see from the picture.. She loved it and I am sure her dad will too..Just two more Dad Day cards to go ..phew x
