Special Wedding Anniversary card.. Knitty Kitty Digi Stamps

Hiya, todays card I have done with these lovely Kitties..I wanted to do something special and different for this card as most cards for the 60th are mainly white..who says it cannot be fun.. I have coloured the image in using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card,I then mounted it first onto craft ,then pink ,then craft card to give a bit of depth and make it look more special. The Papers for the background I got from CC Paintbox Poppets CD as I had nothing suitable in pads..It is very pretty as are a lot of the papers on the disc,There is also another Paper too  ,but you can only just see it popping up from behind the topper..All the backing papers are mounted onto craft card..This helps to strengthen the card and also makes it look finished..The two die cuts from either side of the topper are from Tattered lace Centerfold Dies that have only recently come out with embossing folders to match, but I did not use the folders on this card.  I fussy cut around them to give an edge.I rather like the pink and craft card together looks pretty.. As you all know you look at the die and think what you can do with it rather than just use it for one job ..lol hence mine are one the edges of the topper .The Flowers are from CC Sara Davis's Signature range and these I have cut in cream Centura Pearl..Love Flowers cut in this ,they give off a lovely glow once they have been shaped in all the colour range, and they keep their shape even when sitting for a while too .. Because its a special Anniversary I placed tiny Auoraborialis Crystals into the centers of the flowers as their centers and into the stars and into the girl kitties heart charm too ,then added the Sentiments to finish ..Thank you for popping by and if you get a chance please pop by the shop on Etsyfor look for her on facebook and she some of the lovely cards that can be made using these new stamps. She is a Newbie on the stamp scene and needs a little love sending her way  :) xx

I chose this beautiful Bestie as I could not resist her and I was right she has coloured up beautifully..I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card ..The papers are from my odds and ends box and all were mounted onto Craft card..The image has been cut out with Tattered Lave new Pindot fancy rectangles and the backing one with the basic ones from them too..The flowers were cut from Sheenas card from CC as this holds the flowers when they are shaped ..I then distressed them with the SN Sparkle pens too give them sparkle and that real flower look ,the leaves were also coloured in them too.The Flowers and leaves are from CC Sara Davis Floral collection ,they are just a nice size and worked perfectly on this card..The person I made this for loved it so I think that is important and makes us feel great as crafters..Thank you for popping by Hugs :)xx

Morgan's Artworld Saturday Inspiration

Hiya for the inspiration card this week I have chosen Butterfly Kisses and Swallow Tails..I have coloured her in with Polychromos onto Neenah card ..I have used Santero Backing papers throughout and mounted everything onto craft card,as it just looks so natural onto Fairy cards....The first backing paper is very rich and has encapsulated glittered roses on all over, the second is a beautiful Matt with a material feel to it and it gives the card a really exotic feel and I thought it would go beautifully with the colours as it is fairly neutral..I used one of the new Tonic fancy pin hole circles to cut the image out and the backing card, but for the image I had to cut into the butterfly,to slip the die under and cut a bit too much grr! hate doing that ..but its hardly noticeable I hope..The Die for the butterflies I think was a freebie from a magazine not 100% sure as it is one I put onto magnetic sheets..I cut them in Craft card and backed them in card that I coloured using the CC Sparkle Pence to give them some twinkle and also colour..I popped guauze behind the topper and using 3D glue added the butterflies after curling and folding the tips up..T then placed some more sparkle with purple /pink sparkler hearts as a fairy card cannot have too much sparkle lol!..Then added some simple half pearls to finish and the sentiment..The card is full of textures and movement ,I think It must me one of my Favourite ones this year ..Thank You for popping by :)xx

Grandson's Birthday Card ..Polkadoodles

Todays card is the one i have made for my youngest Grandson's Birthday Card..It is from one of the new Polkadoodles Sticks and Bones..These are so adorable and can be used for both kida and adults ,makes me think of the Flintstones lol..Ok showing my age a bit here lol!..I have coloured him onto Neenah card with Polychromos Pencils ..The reason I have kept the skin a bit on the pale side is because he is just like my Grandson ,so I used his colouring of blonde hair and pale skin..When he got it he was over the moon and kept laughing and saying its me lol! when I phoned him..Thats what makes creating cards worth while .
The CD is just full of amazing things from the fabulous papers like the ones I used that go perfect with the little people, there are images already coloured if your in a hurry and all the same in black and white too..Loads of embellies like the glasses (did not notice bubbles in the Glossy Accencts I used for the lenses until dry Grrr! )..The little things like the footprints and loads of funny whitty sayings..Nikki Hall just Jams so much into her CDs that they are so well worth the money..And remember sometimes you cannot find the right paper and its on the cds you collect,so that means they are not just good for that paprticular CD there are a load of beautiful patterned papers on this one too ..I am a big fan of them a great source of inspiration..I still love my paper pads ,but limited space means its not always practical ..Any way it was a great success and I got a lot of laughter and delight down the phone..so nice when they live so far away ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Day Dreaming..613 Avenue Create DT Card

Today's card I have used a lovely stamp from Crafty Sentiments called Day Dreaming.. I have coloured him in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..The stamp is only a little boy on a box, step ..the grass ,wood effect and the mushrooms are my own artistic addition to tell the story.I have then mounted him onto black card..The papers for the background are digital from my Do crafts Designer but I think you can still purchase them The set is called Birdsong, and I thought it was very appropriate for this card ...all these are mounted onto black card too . As it is for a boy I have kept the design quite clean and simple ,they do not like a fuss do they?,so I have done four squares and faux stitched around them to add more feature to them ,once I stuck them on the card which is an 8x8 ,I glued the topper down with 3D glue gel and added the sentiment and some buttons to decorate ..Thank you for popping by :)xx

I have coloured the Girl Picking Flowers onto Neenah card using Polychromos Pencils, I then mounted it onto black card ..The backing papers are from Tonic paper Pads ,but as the fronts fell off ages ago no Idea which on lol..but they are fab value for money and last forever..I chose two different ones for this and mounted them onto black card also..Rather than using dies this time I found this lost ..well stuck to the back of one of the pads black felt die cut mats found these in a pound shop what a bargain I think there were about six in the packet too ..well it was just meant to be ,so I cut out two sections of it and glued to the middle panel and then added the topper with 3D glue gel ..To finish I added a lovely bright yellow spotted ribbon..Thank you for visiting :)xx

This fabulous Pirate from Digital Delights bu Louby Lou is called Mitzy Pirate and boy was he a lot of fun to colour too,Got to be one of my favourite ones ,bring back my life down Cornwall. I used Neenah card and coloured him with polychromes Pencils ,the actual colours are very vibrant and look a little paler with the lighting sorry..These are by fare my favourite colours together and you always get a fresh clean looking design. I mounted this onto black card..Next using a 8x8 card Blank I cut and mounted the beautiful papers..(These I got from a cheap grocery store here in the uk..so keep your eyes open you can find wonderful things anywhere lol )... onto black card, then added to the card ..The paper had a lovely wave pattern on the bottom and I wanted to use this so I cut this out and using 3D glue I added it a little offset to give the waves more 3D and bring them up onto the image..I then cut out some shells and starfish from a different sheet and added to the top corner of the topper to finish the fun sea fantasy, making it a beautiful card for any little man in your life..Thank you for popping by  :)xx
