613 Avenue Create One Layer Card

This fab image is from QKR Stampede. For todays card we have had to do a simple one layer card..For me this is an absolute first time doing one like this ,but always open for a challenge and as it is a card for my fella it has had to be done late at nighr loland on an 8x8 card blank..cannot just give him a tiny card ..The image was printed onto Neenah card, then coloured using Polychromos Pencils..The Wording was added before printing ,but the hearts I drew around a small wooden heart, inked it in ,then coloured and went over with SN Sparkle pens..Sorry they do not show up too well on the photos..Thank you for pop by :)xx

Crafter's Companion A Country Life

This new Cd from Crafters Companion A Country Life features the beautiful artwork of the Talented Morgan Fitzsimons.. As many who follow my blog may already know I am on her design team, but so far you have only seen her fantasy work..This cd gives you a soft ,romantic feel into country life in taking you down country paths to Cottages that would look beautiful on your wall ,or even on a bag or cushion cover ..I have not mastered this skill yet lol ..It is beautifully coloured, there are some new additions,a lovely gift box of small cards with a matching no glue box, Heart shaped easel cards and many more goodies.. I aim to give a little inspiration..I do some easier cards as not everyone is able to do hard cards from day one ,most are simple to do by just looking at them..
The most important thing I do want to say about CD crafting is..Yes it does have a place in the craft room..I started this way ,Ok then my cards were not like they are now ,but remember I have many years experience behind me now.The first scared me and I did not have a clue,so don't be faint hearted ,they are designed so you can use everything to create a beautiful card ,or you can just use the basics and add your own embellishments..It is all about having fun, experimenting ,do lay it out on your card before sticking or gluing down and let your imagination do the rest ..but most of all enjoy what you do :)xx

This is made using the full sized card Decoupage there are quite a few layers on this and it
gives this a lot of depth and makes it look very special

This is from the Card Companion Section ,using it at full size and done on a 8x8 card base
Simple but really stands out on the shelf

This is the no glue box and the small cards that go inside ,would make a great gift
or even if you do craft shows a nice table filler

I made a beautiful Wall hanging from the Fabric Companion,it was to be a bag but did not work
hence the pretty little gift bag  I made from  cylinder of backing paper of  and folded ends in
.at the bottom and the top folded under to strengthen and added ribbon before
 decorating to match

This is made from the Card Companion section and I created the round easel from card and added
co- ordinating paper and a pretty bow to finish

These are just a few of the samples from the CD that I was allocated to make ,but for more inspiration do pop to

Digital Delights by Louby Lou.. New Release Kandi Kid Bunny

Absolutely thrilled to be starting on my new team ,to head over to see the new releases by the other girls and share a bit of love..My lovely image is Kandi Kid Bunny ..I have coloured her onto Neenah card using Polychromos pencils, I then used the new Pin Point Fancy Rectangles from Tattered Lace to cut the image out..For this image I wanted to keep the background soft so I used pastel chalks to colour the background behind the image and to ground her.. I then mounted her using 3D glue gel onto some beautiful First Editions Love letters card which was cut out Using another fancy rectangle but the basic one, also from TL.Because the papers from this pad are so pretty and also encapsulated with glitter ,for once I decided not to mount it onto a backing card as I wanted it to look softer.,but because the papers are a good thick gsm it is fine and adds weight to the card too, this is not a problem..For this card I used a 7x7 card base.
The flowers are cut from CC Centura Pearl in a lovely pink and have a gorgeous sheen, they hold the flower shape well too.The dies I used for the flowers are from CC Sara Davis Signature Collection,my NOW favorite flower ..You know how it is you get a new set and think hmm that will look good on this ,yes it's happened a few times too lol..The leaves are from the same set but cut from odd card from my stash..To finish I pulled the blue from the egg out into the flowers by popping in some half round pearls..Thank you for visiting and do pop over to Digital Delights they have some of the most cute stamps I have seen and loads for the lads too ,which I shall also try to feature in my future blogs..Thank you for popping by :) xx

My Besties UK ,Anything goes Add buttons or brads

I think this little image is a really sweet one ..I have coloured her using Polychromos onto Neenah card.. Before adding to the backing craft card I drew some faux stitching around the topper to add a bit of detail to the edge.I used papers from First Edition Up Up and Away...Love this pad so sorry its coming to an end ..I have mounted them all onto craft card as you can see..The deeper blue piece in the middle I added some cotton lace for texture and the same faux stitching as the topper to tie it all together.. I popped the topper slightly off center and added using 3D glue Gell ,then added the pink heart button as shown to one side and four pretty pink roses in a line down the other side to create a type of edge to the topper , and also not to cover all the beautiful lace up..Thank you for popping by, hope you have a lovely day :)xx

Saturday Inspiration ..Morgans Artworld

Todays Beautiful card for My inspiration at Morgan's Artworl is coloured in Prisma and Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..It was then mounted onto craft card..The papers are from Tonic and these also have been mounted onto craft card too.. I have used a Scalloped 8x8 card base ,and some gorgeous ruby red ribbon and a cream rose to finish..I have used a lot of colours throughout the iage as using pencils I feel allows you to do this ..It was a really fun image to colour,,so I decided to keep the hair different also.. It is such a sham the real card is much brighter and although I use white light to take the pictures by ,some of the colour is actually bleached out..I think the middle picture is the best example of the true colours..Thank you for visiting ..Have a lovely day :)xx

Venetian Butterfly

Hiya ,todays card is for my friend's mother..I was wondering just what to do ,you know that feeling when you have done cards for someone for someone for years and you just want to do something that you have not done for the same person on her list lol..It is usually set things for people in the family, but with the ladies I have a bit more choice..This is a Julia Spiri digi, I had seen it on FB and thought how pretty it was so this is my choice..The stamp is on Neenah card and coloured with Polychromos Pencils.. The papers are from a DCWV Floral Stack and these have been mounted onto craft card..The beautiful lace flowers , ribbon and roses are from Sweet Lilac and was a prize I won on a challenge before Christmas ..just beautiful and I thought these went beautifully with the theme, and i just added a couple of pretty hearts to add a little bling to finish.. Thank you for taking the time to pop by :)xx

Love You Beary Much ..613 Avenue Create DT Card

This is such a fun card and brought back memories of going through Mum's Button Tin ..Bless her xx..I have coloured this onto Neenah card using Polychromos {Pencils..Firs though I used my Do crafts Digital Designer to pop the background behind the bear..All the papers and the background for the bear is from the beautiful Wellington Bear Male Collection..Really is a fab cd and I do like to use what I have ,where I can as its such a wast..It is on here that I learn the basic designing of my cards many years ago and its the first time I actually incorporated it behind the stamp ..It works Brilliant so pleased with the outcome...All of the backgrounds were mounted onto craft card and I added then onto the 8x8 card..The Topper I fussy cut by hand to get the effect and as the card is for my chap of course no flowers ,so went down the line of buttons which actually go so well with this lovely stamp, Sometimes its just nice to have some fun and let your hair down and this was definately one of those cards lol..I shall be adding his name to the your right of the bear with die cut letters but will do that after as I always do usually..Thank you for popping by :)xx
