Rick St Dennis 50th Birthday card

Well I was asked to do this card ,been so busy and forgot it so sat up until five this morning doing this and boy was I shattered an I am not 100% I think its a head cold ..Right I got this lovely Image .Its printed onto Neenah card and I have used Polychromos pencils to colour it in with.It is such a fun image and Rick is such a fab artist that although the images look complex once you get started you realise he has done a lot of work and left hints as to where to add shading don't be put off...The papers are from First Edition Love Letters, which are very thick and luxurious . Most of the embellies are from there too. I Used Black card for a dramatic effect and finished with a few large blooms and a few gems. Hope you like her as much as I loved doing her , Thanks for visiting :)xx

My Besties..Love and Hugs

Aww this is just adorable ,I chose this beautiful image for inspiration for the challenge ..Love at the My Besties UK blog..I have coloured her in using Faber Castell Polychromos on Neenah card.. The beautiful backing paper is some I got from Lidl Last Summer and it has encapsulated glitter over the flowers ,very pretty selection and it went well with this image too..I mounted onto Craft card and used a bit of lace to break the background..The flower dies are from the Spellbinders die-lites and is called blossoms 3and have been shaped and added using Collall 3D glue gell to give depth..the leaves are from one of the rolled rose sets also from Spellbinders..I do use this on a lot as it is very useful...I then added gems to finis..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Times Gone By.. From Crafters Companion

It is lovely to see a good all around vintage kit from Crafters Companion in their Times gone By.It is simply full of beautiful images and fabulous papers and a few new card shapes to name a few things in the kit..Also there is a set of wonderful Rubber stamps that go with it also to finish the experience,if you love to colour. I loved this cd as I think to many on the market are more Shabby Chic and this one is much more vintage. But do not get me wrong there are beautiful coloured papers and toppers and you can give your  cards a much more modern vintage feel to if you know what I mean .. Here are my samples, the first being the stamped ,one of the two florals available..I hope you like them :)x

Scrappers Delights..Hazel Pixie

Ohh have I had a happy few days colouring this is the first of two cards for this week..This is Hazel I did the sister to her last time which was my favourite, but now I am not too sure as I love how this one has come out.The beautiful image is coloured on Neenah card ,using Polychromos pencils by Faber Castell. The background papers are by First Edition the pad is "Up Up and Away".Once more I have used craft card for my matting, also I used an 8x8 card blank too .I placed the first layer on the card blank this was cut to allow a small white edge around the card.,Then I added an off -cut of a contrasting paper onto a piece of craft card and placed it horizontally across the card half way. After matting and layering the topper ,it was added using 3D glue gell to give it a bit of lift..I popped the insert in then continued to decorate using flowere and leaves from my stash and a few gems..I hope you like her :)x

Inky Impressions Guest Designer..PASTELS

I was so happy to be asked to be the Guest Designer at the Inky Impressions, as those who have followed me for a while will know I was on their team until Christmas last Year and I really sad to leave as I love the images from the designer. This is an image I think I may have done before, but I did the whole image. This time I have done more of a cameo..The theme is pastels..I Used digital papers for this one as they fit  nicely with this theme,it is from do-crafts Birdsong, but I believe it is also in a paper set too, very pretty .I used a faux squiggly stitch type line around the edge of the backing paper. The topper was cut with a round die and also the backing card too this was a Tattered Lace Die and the pretty clouds are from the new dies that have just come out by Crafter,s Companion..The flowers are from a tattered lace die set and the leaves cut from my Cameo..finished with gems..Hope you like her ..I think she is so sweet :)xx
